The media could not be loaded. I was impressed with it for the most part for $120 cheap china bs. Bolts on the arms should be pins for quick folding and storage. There is no hole to make the plate horizontal. The tube is clocked wrong on the plate. I’ll drill another hole to fix that. I don’t think I would put my toes under it with a 1200 lb Cummins hanging off it(especially not from the timing cover like the Amazon photos) who photoshopped that? Absolute derelicts.. I couldn’t build this for the price but I can fix it and be happy with it. 4 stars for the plate not being straight.

I have used this twice and the only thing that bugged me was the center wheel. I removed the wheel and it works great. Probably would need a heavier duty one for cast iron v8 engines. I would not hesitate to use it on a v6 or small/aluminum v8.

Poor quality some holes for the casters were not threaded and even drilled over sized so the recommended fasteners just fell in. Base is not level caster needed to be shimmed to stop from wobbling. Engine plate was not drilled correctly to have engine placed in an up right position. Bolts were loose in box and a quarter of them were missing due to poor shipping care, box had no less than 4 massive holes in it. Is it safe? Not sure but if my engine goes over an attorney will be consulted.

I put a corvair motor on this, maybe a bit south of 300 pounds, so far so good. It’s a value priced stand so there’s understandably some bolts that didn’t seem to go to anything, the instructions in the packaging included pictures of what should be included and diagrams of what it should look like assembled. So be prepared to figure it out, it’s pretty straightforward / if someone can’t figure out how to put this together they have no business cracking open an engine. My only issue was one of the steel supports for one of the wheels was bent so it wouldn’t go on, a long rod repositioned that nicely without issue. Totally would get one again, it’s really beefy steel, easy to roll around.

This stand buckled hard under the weight of a 700 lb engine and was impossible to turn. Had to buy another one and wasted a lot of time buying this.
