The boxes are sturdy, despite thin plastic box. They look nice in my front closet. Shoes look neat & organized. I only gave 4 stars because they are not easy to put together, as the soft box is flimsy (box without door & back air vent/support). Definitely watch video on Amazon for instructions. It’s not as easy as it looks.

I needed something at the hallway entrance of the house to store shoes everybody just leaves as they come through the door. This organizer fit perfectly into the space. Twelve boxes came in the package so I did 2 stacks of 5 boxes each at the front and the remaining 2 boxes I put at the back door for outdoor shoes. Assembly was easy as there were literally only 4 steps to constructing each box. The two ends of the boxes actually make a clicking sound that way you know it is locked in place. The assembled box is surprisingly firm and sturdy given that the shell, before installation of the 2 ends, seemed flimsy and weak and couldn't stay upright. Once those end pieces were installed and locked into place, it transformed into a strong and sturdy structure. They stacked pretty well and I tested the strength by placing several heavy shoes into the top boxes. The stacks held up well. One last thing to note: I don't think tall boots could fit in there unless the top parts of the boots are foldable. It wasn't able to fit my Uggs boots, which aren't the soft, bendable ones, but that's OK because it fit sneakers, men's shoes, heels..just about everything else. The only thing I would change is the all white color as that doesn't work for me. I would probably get some decorative paper and cover some of the white.

I don't know if the people that have positive reviews got the same product as the people that have left one star reviews. There is absolutely no way possible that someone would have a positive experience with these boxes. I have been working on one single box for an hour and after having four different grown men that are all contractors of some kind, look at these and tell me they are defective or maybe I got a shipment of bad pieces, it's very clear something is wrong. There is no "click" as they say in the manual. There is no way to align something that has been warped and bent in shipping. So that's one major problem. The manual is the most vague thing you have ever read. It says nothing about the tabs that are mysteriously supposed to click into the front and back when installed. Notice all the one star people say the same thing. Terrible product. Terribly cheap and flimsy, and a huge waste of time. Unfortunately I did not open them until after my return policy date range. So I had to throw away every one of these since they are useless. Huge disappointment

I bought this for my husband after purchasing another brand for myself. My husband wears a size 14, and his shoes, including high-top Jordans, fit perfectly. This brand was a little more challenging for me to put together than the Kuject brand, but I believe it’s due to the boxes being so large. I suggest working on a hard flat surface to snap the front and back pieces onto the box. Once together, it looks really nice. I recommend this purchase, just have some patience when putting it together.
