Fairly easy to put together except the headboard piece that opens. That piece is a royal pain in the booty to put on. However past that point is smooth sailing and the frame itself looks very nice and pieces are nicely labeled and packaged so there is no confusion. Some spots that should be pre drilled aren't though so keep that in mind. I highly suggest pre-drilling them yourself to to make things easier.

Good looking bed when assembled. Sturdy and quiet. I also got a new mattress when I purchased the frame. This is the first time I’ve not had the old fashioned frame with a box spring so I was concerned about the mattress sliding or moving on the frame but it has not budged. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because the latches on the drop down storage are kind of flimsy. I’ve replaced them with better ones from the hardware store which worked out fine. Overall very happy with this purchase.

Setting this thing up was a nightmare, way worse than any other bed frame I have. The compartment area does not close no matter what, massively regret, won’t return because of time it took to put it together

The bed looks like the picture. It had lots of extra pieces that didn't have an explanation for its use. It took about 3 hours to put together not by me I paid someone to do it. The major issue is the slats are too short they should be longer and fit snug. You get on one side of the bed and slat comes out of that side making the mattress unleveled. You have to lift the mattress and reposition the slat. There are no extenders for metal slats. It is also noisy when the slat displaced. I feel unstable last night I orderd another bed with wooden slats that sit on top of wood that extends all the way across Last night I did not sleep well I slept unleveled. Other than that it is a beautiful bed but for me my issue is major. I will end up giving it away to someone willing to work with it. I am 230 pds it should not shift under my weight. Nobody's taking it apart to ship it.

The assembly and manual were very easy to read. I really like how sturdy it feels and the pieces fit together well, Except for the focus of the bed. The folding headboard is a pain to put together. There are no marks on where to put screws and the instructions are not specific enough. You have to force the screw into wood and there is no notch or hole to tell where. It's extremely inconvenient and does not close. I had to buy a different kind of lock for it due to this. I tried repositioning and switching parts, But it didn't work. Overall it doesn't make any noise really and everything other than the headboard works great. I would recommend this brand, But not this bed. Your better off finding a different frame if that's what you want it for.
