I saw a lot of other reviews saying the install was too difficult but as an amateur of furniture assembly I don’t think it was thattttt bad. It did take me around 4-5 hours with small breaks here and there. Difficulty 5/10. I assembled it all by myself although it recommends 2 people which would have made it a lot easier. Also I’ll say that the included instructions are very easy to follow if you are thorough and tidy. Build quality is sturdy and it functions well, no squeaks or creaks yet. For less than $200 I’m happy with it. I would recommend to anybody purchasing it to replicate the pictures in the instructions exactly. direction facing, orientation, holes on top holes on bottom, And keep the hardware closed until you need it. A cheap drill saved me a ton of time, hand tighten then bounce around and sink them all down with the drill one page at a time.

We ordered this frame and it came in 2 packages. The first one came and the box was damaged. We opened it. Two of the main boards for the headboard were broken. One was snapped completely in half. The other was cracked badly. We were able to use glue and the frame to support the boards. However I did call the manufacturer prior to putting the bed together. They said that they cannot replace the boards that we would have to ship the entire bed back. However we would have to wait until the second box came. The first box was 93 lb. The second box was 65 lb. We're talking late '40s, early 50s couple with bad backs trying to load these heavy boxes, drag them across town and return them to a Staples. Not happening. So we did put the bed together and we made it work with the boards however the fact of the matter is the bed still came broken. I did contact Amazon and they were able to issue me a partial refund and let me keep my bed. I'm okay with this option. Otherwise the bed is painstaking to put together it took hours. Every single nut, every single bolt has to be put into this thing. It's a cute bed and it's sturdy once it's together but it's going to take a really strong marriage and a lot of patience to get it there.

There was no instructions in the box on how to assemble it and the box was damaged with all kinds of wholes in it looked like it was thrown around on the truck
