So far it’s been working great, but it’s only been 3 days. Very easy DIY friendly, it gets cold 🥶 fast and it gets warm 🥵 fast as well. Now buyers beware before you open the valves to release the Freon into the hoses, They need to be evacuated. Easy to do, you need a vacuum pump and a set of AC gauges and a 3” hole drill. The only problem I had was the pressure line had a leak 😞 so I had to buy a HVAC flare tool, and to give you heads up, the lines are metric so you need a HVAC metric flare tool. So I had to cut the line and flare it put and put the line back on and then pull a vac again. Fast delivery came in two boxes. I will do an update review at a later date.     • Unit will not hold charge, no visible leaks
Either Yitahome has changed their brand or I was sent the wrong unit. The brand isn't listed anywhere on the product and the unit will not hold charge. I had a professional tech charge the unit three times, checked for leaks, no visible leaks are found, but the unit quits cooling after four days and the small line freezes. Our original 8000 BTU unit from Yitahome is perfect, but this one is not the same quality. ... show more

Shipping got alil messed up but eventually arrived on by the delivery date. For the people saying bad things about this unit are crazy. Easy DIY if you are handy. Took me about two hours to install in my garage. No don’t expect plug and play I ran new electrical to my breaker panel and everything so it’s done up to code. It keeps my garage cold with no insulation installed yet. Yes not cool it’s cold even in the heat of the day in FL. ... show more

Could not recommend this unit for DIY. Everything about this unit is made very cheap and very low grade. From the fittings to missing wall control holder. No power line from unit to wall shut off. No hole cap that passes threw wall. Just a small cap that dose nothing. There is a control cord from inside unit. Both lines are maybe 20 ft long. So you have little room for error. Not going use this on second floor lines are to short. Again you need 2.5inch whole saw. 20amp breaker. Power cord to unit box, wire, screws, a drill, wrenchs, tape, air pump, a ground pad or something to put it on. ... show more

First mini split instal, everything played out as it should be, took my time since installation wasn’t a typical house, shelf, or garage. This went into Rv 34’ , no real place to install except on the rear. After installing and completing the system vac , plugged in 110v when inside and turned on It’s over 85 outside set temp on 70 in about 10-15 min it was comfortable, very quiet. An e1 error code right out of the box. Which is an ambient room temperature sensor code. Will not turn on. Don't buy this model.

Great unit, really efficient with SEER rating of 22 at 110V. Installation instructions could be better, but there are plenty of youtube diy videos. My room is about 400 sq ft and it’s working great. Controls via smartlife app is simply.

    • Warms my 160 square foot shop while I drink my coffee thanks to built in WiFi.
I have been using this ( 12000 BTU 120v) for a week, works well. I thought I had a problem with the WIFI, turned out to be my router. Really nice to turn it on remotely so my shop is warming while I drink my coffee.
