This is my second yitahome mini split. Installed the first one about 6 weeks ago. It is working great. Just finished up this one and it too is working great. The instructions are a bit lacking, but there are plenty of videos out there. First one took me about 4 hours. Second one about 2.5 hours. Recommend buying or borrowing a vacuum pump. I used nylog thread sealer on the lineset connections and coiled up the extra horizontally under the outside unit. The wifi is a bit confusing, but we got it working too. I would like to give a 4.5 star review for the instructions. Otherwise it is fine. ... show more

If I can gave zero stars, I would. This product has not worked since I received it. I have reached out to the manufacturer., I still have a one you’re warranty with them, yet they refused to help. I have left several emails, and when I call it doesn’t go through. I spent a lot of money on this product for it Not to work or get help. Avoid this company, and this product at all costs. Works great! The instructions for installation were not good but there's some good youtube videos that walked us through. It wasn't terribly hard- got it done in a few hours. I'm looking for some instructions for the remote now which is frustrating, but I'm still giving 5 stars because it works better than our much more expensive Pioneer minisplit! ... show more

I replaced my wall AC with this mini split. This system is so quiet that I can easily have it on while sleeping. I am running it of a 15 A circuit without any issues. My bedroom is large and has vaulted ceilings with an open bathroom. I am facing west and get full sun but this small AC cools my room down in minutes. I bought this product - 12,000 BTU, 115V in January and took my time installing it. I would break it up into 2 parts. Install your electric FIRST. Make 100% certain the 20 amp switch is working before you proceed with the installation guide. The installation guide is very helpful. TAKE YOUR TIME, read the instructions (even sleep on it if you aren't certain) before you proceed with each step. There aren't very many steps to this installation. ***One thing the instructions or product information isn't clear about is that this unit most likely WILL NOT REQUIRE ADDITIONAL REFRIGERANT. They disclose this on their website, but not here on Amazon. If you use the 16ft copper refrigerant lines that come with the product, no refrigerant is needed. ... show more

Just got my Yitahome 12,000 BTU mini split installed. It's not hot enough yet to see how it works cooling down the room. But when we turned it on it was so quiet we couldn't really tell if it was working or not. It was, blowing out nice cool air.
