I purchased the 10 x 12 version. It came in 4 separate boxes delivered by FedEx. No issues with any of the parts being dented or damaged. The gazebo is black with some pretty brown speckles mixed in. It took my wife and I about 14 hours or 2 days to assemble. There are no written instructions, it's all pictures. Most of the pictures were very easy to follow, some took a few looks and head scratching to try to figure out what they're trying to show you. There's a section on roof clips- extremely frustrating. The clips themselves kept falling off and I've read that people used tape to hold them in, I did away with them all together. I have no idea what the point of these clips are, but I can tell you they are totally not necessary ( this was after 45 minutes of fighting them to stay on the roof panels). I ended up using black self tapping sheet metal screws (1/2 inch long) to secure the roof panels to the roof- they are not going to move or fall off. The bag of clips went right into the garbage. Again, no idea why they provide these clipsand why they are even required. Save yourself the hassle and bypass this step. The gazebo is mounted on a 10 X 12 concrete pad we had poured. It fit perfectly. Better than the Allen and Roth cloth top gazebo that was there- this winter killed the frame that held the cloth top and it was either repair it or buy a new gazebo- I figured a hard top gazebo was the way to go. It's anchored to the concrete with concrete screws so it's very secure. I was missing the clips that held the curtains. I emailed the manufacturer and they responded within 2 days. They let me know they had no clips in stock but said they'd credit me back some money to purchase my own to which I agreed. Get this gazebo. It's relatively easy to put together, it's good looking and appears well made - just exercise patience and you'll get through it. Replacement curtain clips and curtains are readily available on Amazon and the sellers diligence to make sure you are satisfied is another huge plus. ... show more

So I finally pulled the trigger after weeks of reviews and research. Landed on the YitaHome for the color, positive reviews and price. Overall, very happy with the finished product. All boxes came together and were in great shape. Well packaged and directions were pretty clear....words would be nice but images were sufficient. The project took me and a buddy from 10am till 5pm. Just FYI...I have renovated several houses and my buddy literally puts things like this together for a living. It's not a quick process but will pay dividends if you take your time and be patient. A couple of notes: 1. Make sure you have a LEVEL, hard surface on which to work. 2. Keep the panels and pieces out of the sun while working and wear gloves...your skin will literally melt off if you dont. 3. Have a helper....trust me. 4. Be gentle with the pieces....the strength comes from the assembled structure...pretty sure the pieces are recycled aluminum. Good luck...get a helper with some building experience if you don't have any and it'll be doable...we'll worth the money and time. ... show more

This gazebo is beautiful. It has all the nice touches and the finish is very nice. This is replacing an umbrella that we would use for shade during the summer. We put it on our porch that is approx 13' x 12". We built it in this area as well. It took my husband and I about 13 hours to put it together (this time includes breaks as well) The directions were great. You definitely need at least 2 people to put this together. The finished product is even better then we expected. So if you're patient with the construction process, you will be extremely pleased with the end result. We purchased a chandelier from our neighborhood home improvement store to hang from the hook on the inside of the gazebo (The picture shown is before we tucked away the wires for the lamp) The curtains and netting are easy to use and really add a cozy touch. We will be able to enjoy many more hours outdoors now. ... show more

After much checking reviews and pricing, I picked this one. Shipping was free and reviews were great. I received 2 boxes first and the 3rd the next day. It came with no damage and was packed very nice. It took my 2 adult sons about 5 hours to assemble. So first & for most, its a beautiful well built gazebo. One of the nicest ones I have seen. However……the directions are great until its time to do the roof. Find the video online & watch it first. The directions have a very crucial step out of order. Definitely need 2-3 people to put together & 2 ladders is helpful. Once its up it’s gorgeous. 4 stars for so so directions. ... show more

This was a project. It took 2 days to assemble. It did get done with only 2 people. The metal isn’t as thick as I expected but after it was all put together it felt overall sturdy. I like the vented top and the hooks to add a light.

We all love it. It's amazing the transformation this gazebo did for my balcony. I'm glad we picked the 12 by 16. It fit perfectly. I requires 2 to 3 people, but I did it myself. That took 4 days. I recommend a ladder, start in the cool morning (never on a hot day without shade or sun block), have a long table to spread out everything (nuts and bolts) and don't hesitate to go to home Depot or lowes it you loose a bolt in the grass or balcony for replacement (do not build by tall grass without a mat). It seems like a sturdy gazebo but the clips for roof panels does nothing to keep the panels sturdy they are useless. I don't know why it's included .I tried to put them on and it was a nightmare...I just threw them away and installed without them and it came out great..
