It took us two people about 6 hours to put together. The instructions were super simple. Great illustrations. All of the bolts and parts were labeled. I would recommend a drill with an Allen bit. Everything is put together with a little Allen tool except a couple sections with screws. The top can be a bit tricky. It’s tell you to put the top together with the 4 long roof supports, but when you try to then attached them to the 4 sides of the base it can bend from the weight of the arms. I would suggest one person holding the center while on a ladder and another person attaching the arms one by one until all the supports are on. Also, make sure it’s turned long ways to match the long side of the gazebo. This was the only tricky part. ;)

So far, we have really enjoyed our gazebo. We read lots of reviews to make sure the product was worth the money. It seems to be good quality but the assembly took WAY longer than expected. Some of the parts did not fit correctly and had to be cut to fit. If it weren’t for my father who is an expert carpenter we would have struggled big time. The instructions were easy to follow, however, some of the steps required leaving pieces that were not secured and they were falling off as we were working our way around the gazebo. We had to bypass some steps to secure the pieces because we didn’t want the shades to be destroyed as they fell. Some of the metal rods bent when they fell and we had to reshape. The curtains were the last thing to install and the pre-constructed parts didn’t leave room to attach them so we had to pry open the grooves to fit the curtain hooks which left the parts damaged. The curtains covered the damaged parts though. I’m sure we’ll have much more enjoyment now that’s it’s constructed but the process was not easy and required more skill and tools than represented. The UV panels were not as expected, but they work great. They seemed thin and more like cardboard when we pulled them out of the box, but they provide great shade. Sliding them in the grooves to fit perfectly was another challenge.

Man...this thing has held up to hail, crazy winds, and the sun/UV that is pretty bad in my backyard. We only secured it with the bolts on the concrete side, but it's never budged, despite tornado weather. Never had an issue with the clear slats, which I was skeptical of based on feel during assembly. I also thought for sure hail would ruin them, but nope! I primarily wanted it to keep my outdoor furniture dry/clean and lend a little privacy (on a mountain we have neighbors above and below us on either side with visibility). I was really worried about buying something like this on Amazon, from an unknown seller, but it's been great. I like that the panes let some sunlight through, which I understand a lot of people don't. Even though it detracts from keeping me cooler in the summer, it's a great place for plants that don't like too much sunlight. (Most of mine will crisp with the UV my backyard gets). The roof part where it's open let's sunlight through at a certain time of day on one side, for about an hour, which is cool for sun bathing (eh hem, all natural), with the curtains closed. Over all, it's surpassed my expectations 🙌.

Upon my first peruse of the instructions, I noticed paragraph #4 (circled in blue), stating that this is not a permanent structure. I went back to the online description to see if I could find that information, and I could not, which actually made me somewhat angry. I've got to believe it's a "Cover Their Butts" situation, so they don't have to replace every one of these that happens to sustain storm damage, but it's ridiculous to suggest. Assembly took an entire day for 2 adults (one of which is an engineer), plus occasional help from a 3rd adult. It involved hundreds of pieces. To take this down - even seasonally - would not be at all practical, and storage would not be at all practical. I could understand removing the screens and curtain walls, but that's clearly NOT what's stated. ...and they even show pictures with snow on it. My next beef was with one of the parts not being notched. The C and C1 pieces each have notches for the roof frame a few inches from the points at which they connect. You can see from the photograph that one of those notches was missing. Fortunately, I was able to correct that with a hack saw and some pliers. It cut quite easily - perhaps too easily - which brings me to my next point: The materials seem "cheap." The metal bends (and cuts) more easily than I believe it should. The roof pieces are corrugated like cardboard. I was concerned about a polycarbonate roof, but read up on the material before ordering. It's used in eyeglasses, headlight lenses, even aircraft, so I figured it would be great, but I was expecting solid pieces of polycarbonate. I'm sure the material used in aircraft is not corrugated. It is a very nice-looking gazebo, and other than the missing notch, it mostly came together as expected. I did have to replace 2 screws in the roof with longer screws. The 3/4 inch screws provided did not reach the screw holes, even with all the other screws around it left quite loose. Once I was able to get the longer screws threaded, I was able to tighten everything up, so no gaps were left. The parts list mentioned pins for securing it to grassy surfaces, but there were no such pins included. I wasn't going to trust pins anyway, and already had a plan to secure it with lag-screws to 4-foot posts buried in the ground. Right now, I have a nice gazebo that I've already received compliments on, but it could have been a better experience, and I'm very nervous about how long it will last.

We have had this gazebo for a few years now. It was easy to put together and has done well in our Western Maryland climate. I particularly like the translucent roof panels. They let some light in, but not enough to diminish the shade. I assembled the whole thing with a little assistance from my wife in about six hours.

We wanted to upgrade our 10X10 soft top gazebo with a 10x12 hard top. What first drawn me to this gazebo specifically was that it had a translucent roof to allow UV protection while also allowing sun to shine through. First box with the roof tiles came pretty quickly, and the second box came about a week later. We wound up getting lucky having all of the parts considering the other reviews I read where it said people were missing parts so I’m thankful for that, however some of the pieces of roof framing were bent and we had to use pliers to correct it in order for the roof tiles to fit correctly. It took about a whole day to put together and we needed a third person for some parts of it. The assembly process is clearly not reasonable for that of a portable structure and even if was there is no way the roof panels would survive more than a few assemblies…the metal is so flimsy to be taken down and put back up. They also do not mention in the product description that is it a temporary structure and that it is not meant for shelter from weather except for sunlight, and to keep bugs out. We unexpectedly got a rain storm hours after assembly and when we inspected the roof this morning it looked like it did pretty well but we noticed water leaking between the top of the lower panel around the roof tile framing…this entire thing is completely misleading and for the price, shipping costs, damaged pieces, leaking roof, and a whole day to assemble, I don’t know that it was worth it….and we don’t know if it would be easy to even send it back…or what that would cost. I’m also nervous it’s just not going to hold up to Marylands weather…I will give it to them the screens and curtains are decent quality and the screen for the vent fits very well, it feels like it would keep the bugs out. However when the screen is on the vent you are unable to use the roof hooks.
