I bought this to go on my back porch deck, it arrived very well packaged. All of the pieces were in good shape and packed in individual packages with each piece clearly marked with a sticker for easy assembly. The instructions were somewhat easy to understand but still took time to figure out. 2 friends put it together in 7 hours. It included a netting curtain and also a fabric curtain. Both were of sturdy materials and not flimsy. I am very well satisfied with this purchase and it looks great. The only small problem was that some of the included screws stripped out easily, there needs to be a few extra of the most common ones included in the original packages for this reason. ... show more

Once completely assembled, it’s a great value at this price point. However, there were several issues I encountered that I must say, were handled efficiently by a top notch customer service team. They responded immediately and did everything they could to rectify the issues. 1. FedEx did a terrible job in shipping the first of three boxes. This first box was so heavily damaged that none of the roof pieces could be used. They were bent up very badly. 2. The instruction manual was not very good, especially when it came to assembling the roof panels. Some steps are actually out of sequence. They really need to completely redo the manual. 3. Many of the holes do not line up properly which makes it difficult to assemble, especially the roof pieces. The manufacturer needs better in-process inspection. 4. I’ve worked in the metal manufacturing business over 40 years and dealt with 1000’s of assembly projects and never had as many problems as I did with some of the roof panels. 5. My wife and I spent over 20 hrs just assembling the roof. 6. The frame however, was an easy assembly. 7. The seller includes extra hardware which was a big plus. 8. The coating on all the parts is top notch and should provide years of protection. I want to repeat that the customer service department was very very good. They are very dedicated to helping the customer and resolving issues in a timely manner. Now that the gazebo is assembled, we are very pleased with our purchase. ... show more

This is an amazing gazebo! Very nice for the price, fits perfectly on my patio. I was missing the 4 mesh panels for the top (I have requested them from the seller, still awaiting arrival). It did take 2 days to complete assembly, it wasn’t hard, it was just very detailed…but totally worth it!!!! Love It ... show more

The build quality of the YITAHOME 10x12ft Double Roof Hardtop Gazebo is very good. It looks durable, only time will tell. It came 4 days earlier than promised. It came in two packages, each about 65lbs. I laid out all the parts on a drop cloth in my garage. I started the assembly inside the garage until step number 4 (four legs with A, B, B1, C and C1). I then moved the four partially assembled frames to my patio. There I connected part P to create two halves of the frame. At this point, I asked my wife to hold one side of the frame upright while I connected the other half of the frame using part P. This was very easy. I assembled 95% of the gazebo alone, requiring my wife’s help only couple of times. It took me about 16-20 hours (spread out over one week) to finish the assembly. You will need good quality ladders to build the gazebo. I will recommend not to use power tools. I used the supplied hex key. Make sure to follow the instructions very carefully. There is a mistake either in the instruction or part labeling for parts E and F. Swap them. They provided exact member of bolts and screws but unfortunately some of their screws came unusable. I had to get same sized screws from Home Depot. In my opinion, parts Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4 are slightly larger than they should be, they don’t fit properly. Do not tighten the screws and bolts all the way until you have inserted every single bolt. I used four large planting pots to weigh down the legs (I didn’t want to drill my patio pavers) and planted flowers in the pots. I drilled three drain holes in each pot bottom, then first filled with river pebbles, followed by sand, flowed by potting soil. The river pebbles to keep the drain holes free from clogging, the sand to filter the water so that they don’t stain my patio pavers. I will see how long the aluminum legs stay rust free. ... show more

    • Beautiful but time consuming

This item comes in 3 packages. One arrived with FedEx, which was the main structure, and then the other two arrived via USPS which were the panels and hardware. Everything came well packaged and protected, in other words, nothing came damaged. We started building around 1pm for which we stopped at 7pm and continued at 7am the next day, to be completed at 12pm; roughly 11 hours to build. Advice, follow the manual or atleast use it as a guide. You do need multiple people to help you to keep the structure stable and be able to put the pieces accordingly. I will say some of the holes don’t match up and you will have to do some manuvering to make the bolts go in. I also advise to place the curtain clips before completing the first part because after you complete the legs and enclosed, it is impossible to place the clips. In other words, you need a few hands to complete the task, follow the manual and patience. ... show more
