  • Great looking gazebo
Color: Brown Size: 10x10ft
Took me and my sons about 15 hours (in 2 days) . Instructions are mostly pictures so got to pay attention to details. Other than that gazebo is excellent. Attach by screws on the concrete slab due to high winds during winter in my area. One complain would be that I didn't like the clips that have to go on the metal roof sheets cause they were at time really hard to keep them on while attaching to the roof. At the end I am.happy with my purchase. ... show more

  • IMO and my case, WILL leak when it rains.
Color: Brown Size: 10x10ft
My Ratings are based on the subjects given. 1. Overall Value: I'm starting with "Value for money" because it's the most important. The fasteners that hold the roof panels in place are exposed to the rain. There's no o-ring gaskets on the screws to seal against the metal like I've seen in another Gazebo I have. I tested it with a hose after getting it fully erected. Found some leaks and then tightened down the fasteners further. That stopped it. But, today in "real” and harder rain, I have numerous areas that are leaking and all drips originate from the bolts exposed. I'm going to contact the company next and see if they'll offer a resolution and then update this review if possible. The only other thing I could reccomend is gooping up the fasteners before & after you tighten with silicone seal. It’s a temp solution though as we all know. The other two categroies are is as follows: Ease of assembly. The instructions were actually very good with good & clear illustrations. I would estimate this will take a full day to install for one person, but a couple helpers are required for a few tasks. I wasn’t missing any hardware and that aspect went smoothly. Sturdiness: This unit is very light weight compared to another Aluminum Gazebo I own. The sheet metal guage is very light. It’s nicely powder coated, but I would guess this won’t last more than 10 years IMO. My other Aluminum frame Gazebo is about 15 years old. You will need to anchor this down. The right amount of wind will send this along with Dorathy sailing! I’m not talking the laughable stakes they give you, This needs to be anchored to concrete or the earth with the proper fasteners. The other humourous subject in the instrcutions is this gazebo is only inteded for occasional use! (I’m paraphrasing) What person is going to spend a day putting it up and then a day to take it down each spring/summer??? As a side note that’s very IMPORTANT, these gazebos have no water channel (gutters) to keep the water from splashing inside. This and my other one are designed to be enjoyed in mostly dry climates. I’m in Oregon so we get a lot of rain. This unit is a 10x10 - with out wind the inside area is reduced to 8x8 due to all the water dripping and splashing. The curtains help, but they will only last a year or two at best IMO. With wind, everything under it will get wet if the curtaines aren’t drawn, but keep in mind the curtains won’t last long in windy areas. FOR THE life of me, I don’t understand why they don’t include built in water channels. I spend around $300 adapting house gutters around it. ... show more

  • A good product, however.......
Color: Brown Size: 10x10ft
First off, I would like to say that the product, once assembled is sturdy and a good value for the money. The reason for the 4-star rating rather than 5 is the assembly. Counting the screws, there are over 600 parts. (The screws are of a low quality and will strip very easily. Have a few extras of the appropriate size) The Amazon video was very helpful as an addition to the instruction manual. Prior to unboxing, you should brush up on your favorite cuss words, you will need them. The frame assembly was straight forward and went together without issue. Once the roof assembly starts, the cussing begins. First off, the parts listed as "R" and "R1" are totally unnecessary and can be left out, saving a lot of frustration. These parts form a slight barrier between roof panels and can be easily replaced by some black foam strips AFTER the panels are in place. The second semi useless items are the plastic spacers (Part M5). These are used when tightening the roof panels to the frame and allow tightening without crushing the ridges on the roof panels. I found them nearly impossible to install because of putting this thing together by myself. Just be careful and do not over tighten. The assembly took me three days (I'm old and it is hot as Hell here in Georgia). I anticipate the gazebo will last a long time and provide a nice shady spot. Just be prepared for some frustration during assembly. ... show more

  • Good Quality Gazebo
Color: Brown Size: 10x12ft
The build quality of the YITAHOME 10x12ft Double Roof Hardtop Gazebo is very good. It looks durable, only time will tell. It came 4 days earlier than promised. It came in two packages, each about 65lbs. I laid out all the parts on a drop cloth in my garage. I started the assembly inside the garage until step number 4 (four legs with A, B, B1, C and C1). I then moved the four partially assembled frames to my patio. There I connected part P to create two halves of the frame. At this point, I asked my wife to hold one side of the frame upright while I connected the other half of the frame using part P. This was very easy. I assembled 95% of the gazebo alone, requiring my wife’s help only couple of times. It took me about 16-20 hours (spread out over one week) to finish the assembly. You will need good quality ladders to build the gazebo. I will recommend not to use power tools. I used the supplied hex key. Make sure to follow the instructions very carefully. There is a mistake either in the instruction or part labeling for parts E and F. Swap them. They provided exact member of bolts and screws but unfortunately some of their screws came unusable. I had to get same sized screws from Home Depot. In my opinion, parts Z1, Z2, Z3, Z4 are slightly larger than they should be, they don’t fit properly. Do not tighten the screws and bolts all the way until you have inserted every single bolt. I used four large planting pots to weigh down the legs (I didn’t want to drill my patio pavers) and planted flowers in the pots. I drilled three drain holes in each pot bottom, then first filled with river pebbles, followed by sand, flowed by potting soil. The river pebbles to keep the drain holes free from clogging, the sand to filter the water so that they don’t stain my patio pavers. I will see how long the aluminum legs stay rust free. ... show more

  • Difficult project
Color: Brown Size: 10x12ft
You definitely need two people and two 6-8' ladders. The bolts do not always align. The directions are difficult to follow. It took two of us 16 hours. They do not include extra bolts, which can be easily dropped and difficult to see as they are black.
