Awesome product at an amazing low price. This is a fine meter. What a surprise when it turned up - this is a serious measuring device ，tiny and very accurate. Comes with probes that are insulated so only about 1/8" metal is exposed，because they come with the end shields that allow you to contact the test points without shorting out adjacent wires.Of course these plastic shields can be removed to allow the entire probe tips to be exposed for inserting into AC outlets, etc.. I did not have probes like this and they are useful for circuits as I do not have to worry about accidental shorting. The fact that it can read amperage without opening the circuit, makes troubleshooting very easy. This is a well designed feature packed meter. It has very intuitive controls and is very compact, so it is easy to store. It also comes with a nice carrying pouch. Even better, it has instructions in English to guide me how to use it.This has become my favorite multimeter. I use it on a nearly daily basis.

The unit came quickly and well-packaged. Unlike some reviews, I did receive instructions in the package. However, I did NOT receive batteries. I'll be using it over the next few months to get an idea of how well it functions. It has capabilities that my old Craftsman multi-meter didn't have - capacitance and clamp-on amp meter in particular - that I am looking forward to using. I also bought a Dawson DZA50 AC line splitter so I can measure how much power I'm using on various items around the house. I did a quick test of both on my laptop and all worked well. The amp test was low, as the battery was fully charged. The voltage read 124, which is totally in the normal range for a 120V house line. After I've used it more, I plan to come back and update this review. I really like the test leads on it, as they fit snugly in the ports on the meter and the probes have a cover to minimize touching hot and neutral at the same time. I dinged it one star as it did NOT come with batteries. Some of the reviews DID come with batteries, including the 2 highligted video reviews. I looked over the Amazon pages and didn't see that batteries were included or excluded, but it should be marked clearly since many reviewers DID receive batteries.

I purchased the unit T UT210E after researching for a compact AC/DC current clamp capable of reading mA. In my line of work I troubleshoot low voltage outdoor control and automation systems. I wanted something I could carry in my tool bag, jaws had to be small enough to fit in crowded junction boxes and panels. I just received the uni-T UT210E today. But Ive already used it to test a couple DC operators. Tracked down a couple sources of AC leakage current causing EMI interference with a couple of in ground inductive control loop. Is more than paid for it self in the first 4 hours its been in my hands. Granted I had located these problem areas prior to receiving this Uni-T with my fluke scope and current probe and megger earth ground/ leakage clamp. I left these problem areas alone to test the small UT210E in a real world scenario and to see how accurate it would be. To my surprise this litte $40 is on par with my $5000 scope and $2000 megger. Which are both bulky, time consuming and expesive pieces of equipment to carry and set up just to check low current draws on equipmet and trace down current leakges. I dont have any comments about the voltage side of the meter because I only bought for the current clamp. Ill stick with Fluke for all my voltage reading. By the way I looked all of fluke clamp meters and I could not find any stand-alone meter that had the range capability’s of this UT210E which is honestly the only reason I went this rought but verry happy I did. Since the UT210E is so inexpensive and accurate this may end up on the list of required tools for all new technicians.

This is the nicest meter I've ever owned. The features for this price are hard to believe. It is very nice construction, does not seem cheap at all. It actually seems very well built, came with a nice zipper case, and very nice leads (as good as leads that came with a Fluke I have). I was specifically looking for a DC current clamp in order to trouble shoot some automotive electrical problems. I found this, which will be my main meter from now on. It is a great size, small but not too small. Auto-ranging on the measurements. All functions work. It has a backlight for the LCD screen that is off by default, but turns on if you hold down the "HOLD" button for a few seconds. TrueRMS too for this price! I didn't notice when I purchased it that it has a non-contact AC voltage detector as well. That was a nice surprise and will come in handy doing house wiring projects. The only down side is I could not find anyone in the US who sold it. It was shipped direct from China. They did ship it very efficiently though. It came more than a week before the earliest estimated delivery date. So I can't complain personally, but having a delivery window from a couple weeks to over a month is definitely a deterrent when ordering something on line.

I been using this for few years on cell towers for wsp company. Amp clamp on DC and AC accurate enough for me. Also use clamp to hold it in position on towers while I work. I like the easy switch between AC DC voltage, no deciphering dots and lines. I've owned many meters in this price range and this is best so far, never needed high end meters. I may have replaced the leads if memory serves. Just purchased same meter 210E as backup. I can't speak for the difference of all the other models this comes in.
