I purchased this probe over a year or two ago and the tool still works flawlessly, the only issue id ran into is i recently lost the probe tip, but the support team was quick to send me a new replacement tip! 100/10

    • It works if you're careful

I had used it for about a year, no major issues. My only issue with the design is the length of the grounding cable, just a bit short for what I usually need it for, but I've been able to make it work with an extra wire. The only real problem I came across was when I had made the mistake of trying to apply power or ground to a wire when it had the other already active. User error, really. But it was when I kept doing it when I had to apply one of the two before making contact, like in a tight space. It would normally shut down and restart if you made a mistake, like normal. But I had done it quite a few times in a row and it had shut down completely. Few days later, it starting working again, but sometimes when you power it, it doesn't show or do anything on the screen but a blank background. Again, user error caused it. But other than that, having it as a mobile mechanic has saved me so much time, being able to see what is actually happening. I only have the KM10, but I honestly might upgrade to see what I can use the nicer model for. It was well worth the price. ... show more

This power probe works great and is easy to use. The only issue for me is the short ground cable on it. Besides that, I’m very pleased with it. Definitely recommend instead of spending a lot of money on a name brand one that does the same thing.

This off brand power probe is fantastic! I Work in a shop with 4 other techs . Them having power probe branded and a snap on branded electrical testers and stand by them . But the cost of over $150 for a power probe brand and over $300 for the snap on branded testers was a bit much to choke down for a tool I use maybe 2-3 times every few weeks . So thought I’d give this one a shot and I’m not disappointed in my decision. Life is expensive enough don’t put your self in debt on a tool truck buy this and stay off that tool truck not about that $50 dollars a week for the rest of your life ! ... show more

Great tool any handy person should not be without. I think they only suggestion I have is for a better case - hard to pack all the awesome length of cord in there, but that is easy enough to find something for it. I like how the probe stores in the tool itself. The company was very helpful when I lost mine. I will be sure to snap it into its storage clip better next time. ... show more

    • Don’t lose your probe tip

This equipment works as advertised, BUT don’t lose your probe tip. This tester is virtually useless if you or someone else accidentally loses your probe tip. There doesn’t appear to be any replacement parts available for purchase. UPDATE: A banana plug will fit where the lost probe tip is supposed to go. Use your imagination to make it work from there. ... show more
