  • Fluke quality
Really well built and accurate. Wish it wasn't so expensive though.

  • It blows Fieldpiece out of the water
I bought this meter a year ago when my fieldpiece sc640 that I only Had for two years and was well taken care of I might add took a dumb on me. I use my meter almost on a daily basis since I’m an HVAC technician. I am very please with the Fluke 902. It’s not like the 376 but it’s a solid reliable meter. I like the Fluke connect feature and how the meter is laid out. It’s simple to use and has all the measurements I would need to take in the field. You pay more for Fluke but they are the best meters on the market. Fieldpiece are made of cheap hard plastic and are unreliable. Yes they have all the bells and whistles for a better price but what’s all that worth if it can’t perform when you need it. It seem crazy to think about but in a way your life depends on accurate and reliable readings when working around high voltages that’s why I will never buy a fieldpiece again. Plain and simple you get what you pay for. My only gripe about this meter is that it’s assembled in Singapore and not in the United States like the higher end Flukes. ... show more

  • I love it!
I’ve been using fluke meters for 3 years and I can trust my LIFE on them. This meter is very expensive, but if you need one and you can afford it, go ahead and get the best. It also comes with a carry pouch but doesn’t advertise as having one, so that’s a nice touch.

  • Expensive, but worth it.
Let me start off by saying, I am/was a fieldpiece guy. 6 years in the trade, I am on my 4th fieldpiece meter. They just dont last. Most of my coworkers have ols fluke meters, and swear by them. I bit the bullet and bought a fluke. What a difference. The construction of the meter is great, and is very accurate. The fluke app is also nice. My only gripe is that everytime I use it for temperature, it wants to read celsius first. Just hit the C/F button and all is good. I use it everyday in the HVAC field, and believe this meter will give me many good years of use ... show more

  • Great meter
Love this meter personal choice favorite meter I have owned by far. However it would have been better if it could have read all scales of OHMS. Inrush, MV, and low pass filter would have been great. Carrying 2 separate meters among all the things we carry for the HVAC trade is a bummer.

  • Unparalleled Speed and Accuracy
Pros: -(major) Reading MFD is rapid (80MFD in less than a second) -(major) Readings are verifiably accurate -(major) Built like a tank -(minor) Comes with K-Type Thermocouple (not clamp type though) Cons: -(minor) No magnet backing included, and only strap-type magnet available -(minor) Requires banana adaptor to read temps -(minor) No meter lead holder on side or under multimeter, and no aligator clip leads -(minor) MFD only calculated to tenth's place decimal (even on low MFD capacitors -(major) Meter leads protective sheath on the end of the leads freely pops off, exposing all 3/4" if metal to the open. Though, not critical with most HVAC procedures (I never used mine on my old meter anyways) -(major) No Non-Contact Voltage Detector Verdict: There were a lot of cons, but none of them are deal breakers. The speed and accuracy of this meter more than makes up for the lack of NCV. Not having to wait 15 seconds to measure the capacitance of a capacitor is more thannworth it. However, this meter is tailored and specialized to HVAC, and while it is the best for HVAC, it isn't the jack of all trades. It will measure things within common HVAC parameters. ... show more
