For the price this probe is pretty damn good, I’ve used to test radiator fans, retract electronic parking brake motors, and a bunch of other stuff. If you aren’t trying to spend a thousand dollars on a Snap On or Matco power probe this is the probe to get.

    • I wish it had a current meter.

Awesome tool but I wish it would show current. It would be simple to add with a simple current meter in line with the ability to supply 12 volts by pushing the button. That would be a great way for troubleshooting working but faulty components like fuel pumps, washer fluid pump, window motors (regulators) and other load sensitive items. If a new fuel pump draws 3 amps but the one in the vehicle is drawing 20 amps or more but still working, a current meter would tell you right away there's a problem. The only reason I mention it in this review is because on the box it comes in, it advertises "Read the AVO meter, voltage, current. and resistance easily". It does not measure current. It's still a great troubleshooting tool. It's a must when looking for electrical problems. Split the circuit, diagnose the circuit. It's that simple. ... show more
