This is a pretty waist cincher. Though it doesn't show as the same color in the pictures here, the 'Beige' is actually a soft pink color that is lovely. That being said, I would say this is for fashion purpose or for flattening the tummy very slightly, not to wear as a true waist trainer. I waist train daily with a full steel boned lace up corset and sometimes a latex waist trainer. With both of those types, there is a cinching at the waist for an hourglass result. This garment just flattens without cinching in at the waist. So if you just want to hold in a fupa, or this is for a guy, maybe this would work. If you want a real hourglass shape, look elsewhere. The outside of this is very odd and almost sticky in feeling like a rubber band. My other latex trainer is smooth and doesn't catch on clothes. Just a no all around on this one for me. It did run true to size, so I'll give it stars for that. I have a 26" waist (that cinches in to 24") and ordered XS.

So this thing will hold you in and train you well, if you get the right size I’d imagine. I think some ppl that are saying “it’s not really for training” are getting too big of a size possibly? It’s supposed to be tight, this process starts off uncomfortable for the most part but eventually it’ll get better especially combined with lifestyle changes. I’m about 5’8 260 lbs and my stomach doesn’t protrude out or round out for reference (I think that has to be taken into consideration when deciding on sizing for this piece for sure) and I got the XL. It’s pretty tight on the first row of hooks for me but I can breathe and I know it’s a good investment cause it’ll be able to grow and adjust with me as I keep losing weight.
