I got this item 3 months pp. perfect timing to start wearing it for me, the compression/support is very comfortable. First week I wore it 2-4 hours at time and lost a lot of water weight. Only negative going along with the weight chart I got a large and it’s already too big. I was 120 per pregnancy 190 before birth 160 when I started wearing the belt… currently 145 on week three of using the belt. Could be this belt Is a little big but it does roll during workout/stretching but not too bad. See the last photo ... show more

I’m almost 3 week’s postpartum and this has definitely helped with holding my stomach in and bringing it down to size. It’s easy to put on holds well and kinda discreet . So with my last pregnancy I tried a Belly Bandit and it was ok, but it didn't stay in place and moved up throughout the day. The Bellefit seemed like it would fix that problem since it claps in the crotch but is so expensive I was hesitant. I ended up getting a Bellefit off ebay for around $40. I had both at the beginning of this postpartum phase but didn't really wear them consistently. Fast forward- I started physical therapy and they want me to wear one 23 hrs a day- so I tried both and neither were really working. The Bellefit's seams poked me endlessly and even when I cut the boning out, it still was very uncomfortable. I could handle the squeezing of the girdle but the seams and the way it was cut dug into my skin and left awful red marks and made me so cranky. The Belly Bandit again kept moving and I quickly lost so many inches on my belly that the medium no longer really squeezed. So I started researching and eventually bought about 12 options on Amazon that had free returns and found 2 that I really like: 1. This is my favorite because it really holds the tummy together. The two flaps in front help me get it very snug and the extra parts help pull in extra. I wear this one all day. I bought this right after I had my baby and what with breastfeeding and sleep deprived days and nights and overall gettin used to Motherhood, I didn't get around to using it until I was 2 months post partum, I had ordered one large and one small as I didn't know which would for once post birth swelling went away. Well the medium fit and I wanted to return the large but was informed that I couldn't as return was only valid for 'x' amount of time after purchase. I think that's very poor business ethics in this day and age. And the medium siZe does fit but it keeps on shifting and sliding up my waist and my pp tummy bulges out from beneath. I'm not sure at his point if there would be any benefit to wearing this contraption and it's extremely uncomfortable and bulky by the wAy and I'm pondering buying something more regular and simple. I don't recommend this product. Update: so this company has been emailing me ever since I wrote my initial review above. I've copy/pasted the latest and third email I got from them below. They are highly unethical! They want me to remove my review or give higher grade in exchange for my money back or another girdle. I responded to the first two emails stating that if they gave me my money back that I would remove the review as one of my complaints was that I couldn't return it. They never got back to me on it instead I get another email with similar request and even sillier explanation. I doubt the genuinity of this company! I had to earn them to never contact me again!
