I’ve owned and loved a 30 ounce Yeti Rambler along with a Magslider lid and add-on handle for a couple years. It has been my daily drinker since I bought it. It was expensive but worth it for me as it kept ice for a day and was very spill resistant. This travel mug is like my secret wish list for every change I would make to the Rambler. This mug comes with a twist-lock lid. It’s hard to spill with the Rambler, but I have dropped mine and had the lid blow off. That won’t happen with the twist-lock lid. The handle is welded on, not a slip-on unit that loosens over time. Yeti calls this mug “leak resistant,” but mine won’t let a single drop go even when filled to the brim and turned upside down. Ever worry about a creepy crawler getting into your water at night? Can’t happen with this! Also, this mug insulates every bit as well as my other Yeti. Gripes? The handle is a three finger loop that’s thin, flat, slightly uncomfortable and makes the mug feel heavy. The Magslider on this mug requires you to press down on part of it to allow it to slide. It’s an extra step I got used to quickly. Also, this mug is more complicated and has more parts that other Yetis. If you’re a person who likes to take things completely apart for washing, then make sure you know how to reassemble after! I’ve read a lot of reviews here from people who—I can tell—have installed the O-ring or Magslider parts wrong. They end up with leaky lids that are hard to open and close and drink holes that chug or clog. Assembled correctly, this thing is near leak proof and darn near bullet proof. If you want a simpler design, Yeti still offers the 30 ounce Rambler. Another thing, This is drink ware, not a bottle! You’re not supposed to throw it in your bag or purse and expect it to be leak proof. That’s not what it’s for! All in all, I love this thing. It’s expensive, but it’s durable in the extreme, useful in the extreme and at least everything is included, no options to buy. Worth the money! ... show more

I loved the yellow color! I bought the yeti for my hot and colds drinks. Keeps drinks cold and the ice last for hours. Hot drink last for hours as well. I like that it does not leak and seems to be pretty durable. I would definitely buy again!

About 5 months now and I use this mug daily! Even when I am home. Number 1, I don't pop quart canning jars anymore! It's stainless! I make sure to have a rolling boil before I pour it over my black tea. Number 2, wow what ranks number two, so many things! The handle is easy to grip and hold. The lip (I take the lid off to drink) is a thin rim, which personally is imperative. The tapered bottom, it seats securely in cupholders while driving. The huuuge opening to fit your whole hand in for ease of washing. Base, even tho tapered at the bottom, is secure enough to prevent tipping. HOT! I can fill it, put lid on, travel, and four hours later when I remove lid, my tea is still piping hot! Once I partially filled it with vanilla ice cream to go, hoping for it to melt deliciously and sip through a straw ... nope ... it kept the ice cream chilled til long after I was home. I love this 30oz Yeti Travel Mug in Bimini Pink (hot pink! no one touches it). I read the reviews and one suggested getting the larger size and I am grateful that I did! Finished tea is probably about 22 oz, leaving about 2-3" below the screw top ridge. One note to mention, I have removed the rubber seal on the lid. With my small hands, the lid would grip so tight that I was unable to open it. And even so, I still have to be mindful to just give it a small twist when I first pour boiling water, because I let it steep before adding cream. I don't need to worry whether it was leakproof, due to how I use it. If I didn't literally take this with me everywhere I go, as well as use it at home on weekends, I would buy another one! The $42.00 purchase price may seem steep at first, but having used it for 147 days in a row, the cost per day is 29cents as of today. OH I FORGOT TO SAY ease of cleaning! I have had sooo many travel mugs that I was unable to take apart daily in order to get under mechanisms due to the added cream. Often times tossing them out once they smell sour. I use the lid mainly to keep hot from point A to B, or while traveling. Even so, taking the magnet slide off and the bottom piece is a cinch, allowing everything to be easily washed and reassembled. Super fast! And if you feel you want to remove the staining, simple swipe with sos pad, or baking soda & vinegar ... voila! I love this mug! ... show more

Used for cold drinks- keeps ice for hours, good capacity for a whole day on the road. A little heavy to carry around for extended periods. Handle a little small even for my wife’s hands. By now you know that Yeti isn't a cheap brand. True. We have a mind-boggling array of Yeti mugs and other products, but this 30oz Rambler is an extension of my right arm on in-office work days. I have dropped them on the pavement, kicked them, and generally abused them in every way. Not a chip, dent, or any optical imperfection. More importantly, not a drip has been spilled on me. Most importantly, my coffee stays hot (with the lid closed between sips) for hours. When we aren't working, we are avid travelers and hikers.
