The hype is real. Owala makes a durable and versatile water bottle that’s also sleek and easy to carry around. The only thing that this bottle cannot do is carry carbonated drinks or hot drinks (which I would assume is due to pressure causing the cap to fail). I have had no leaks while using my water bottle at home, in the car, and at work. I appreciate the size of this bottle because it has a smaller footprint than other bottles and fits well in most cup holders. While I’m not a big cold drink enjoyer I have noticed that my drinks stay cool for a good few hours. I really enjoy being able to sip or chug my drinks whenever I feel. If you have been debating on whether or not to get this water bottle, do not hesitate any longer! This water bottle is seriously the best one on the market right now. The temperature retention on these are seriously impressive- I went to the beach in 92 degree weather and left it sitting in the sun and by the end of the day some of the ice had still not melted! Is 100% leak proof, relatively lightweight considering the amazing material, and has the perfect handle to make transportation easy. Just received this. I love it. It's perfect for me. Locks when you aren't hauling it. Little handle when you are drinking. I love the colors. I love how lightweight it is with a built in straw. The Owala FreeSip is beautifully designed - I love the look, feel, quality, no-leak design, and especially the built-in straw for use in the car. BUT - the 24 oz size does not fit well in my car's cupholder (Toyota Prius) even though it is described as car cupholder friendly. So disappointed. Great water bottle!!! I purchased this for my kiddo to use at camp and for sports. It's light weight empty and a great size. Its well made and seems like it will take the beating a younger kid will deliver. The clip to open is very robust but easy to press and all the openings seal well. It fits well in a backpack side pocket. It does a good job keeping the drink cold and has an opening large enough to add ice if you want to. My biggest concern is the handle at the top getting broken but it seems pretty strong so only time will tell. ... show more
