Love that the straw is covered, and the water bottle has a carry loop making it easy to carry when your hands are full. This is the second Owala water bottle I have, and I only decided to get a new one so I could have it in a different color and because the old one got a little dent in it after a dramatic fall onto uneven cement. It is very durable, and it passes the "left for hours in a hot car" test. You can be assured this thing will keep your water and drinks cold all day. I never leave home without it. I've tried many types of water bottles, mainly for use in the gym or other strenuous activity. This is one of the better ones. It's a good size, nice variety of color choices and cleans easily. It keeps cold drinks cold for a long time. Never timed just how long. Because I accidentally dropped it a few times in parking lots, it is quite banged up; scratches & chipped paint. This is an easy one-handed push button to access the drinking area. I feel this keeps it sanitary. It has a straw that can detach to be cleaned. This allows you to sip to the straw or tilt the container up to drink. They do say not to use hot liquids for safety reasons. Pressure can build up. I haven't used it long-term, so I cannot comment on staining or ease of cleaning. It will mostly be used for water. It is keeping the water very cold for a long time. The only downside is that you have to close it for best performance on keeping liquids cold and not spilling if it gets knocked over-- I do tend to tip my water bottle over in the car or at the gym. Having to push the button every time is kind of inconvenient and I wonder about the longevity. However, everything else combined makes this a good choice. ... show more

The size is perfect at 24 oz, the indented sides make gripping easy and comfortable along with the lock top that doubles as a handle. The colors are unique and makes it easy to stand out amongst all the others at the gym or office. The sip easy cap and guzzle notch make it easy if you just need to wet your whistle or need to gulp after a workout. This is a well made water bottle with options of using the included straw or “sipping” from the spout by tilting the Owala back. It keeps my water and ice cold all day, and the bottle does not sweat or leak at all. I appreciate the ease of cleaning the bottle as well as the straw and cap. The only aspect that would make the Owala FreeSip any better in this size would be the ability for it to fit in my car’s cup holder. The FreeSip mouthpiece is by far my favorite that I’ve tried; however, it’s definitely not perfect. The lid doesn’t open without sticking, and the handle doesn’t feel sturdy enough to carry the bottle. I could see the lid needing to be replaced in less than a year. I purchased the 24 oz bc it’s advertised as being able to fit in cupholders, but it doesn’t fit in my 2008 Volkswagen cupholders, so now I regret not just buying the 32 oz instead. After a week of light use, the color is already starting to chip a bit, even though I’ve only taken it in the car twice. Purpley matches the stock photo well, unlike some of the other colorways that are definitely falsely advertised. I’m not a fan of the green/blue top and yellow straw, but I don’t want to spend a ton of money to make it aesthetically pleasing (the random dark blue button bothers me the most). Overall, this bottle makes it really easy to drink water, keeps water cold as advertised, and it’s a great buy if you can get it on sale. ... show more
