I am using this to protect the sides and roof of a 27ft camper over the winter. I put the black side up to convert sun uv into heat instead of eating the plastic. It's pretty heavy duty and I have no doubt it will hold up over the winter. The only beef I have with this is, I realize tarps go by their nominal size before they are hemmed. For ex, a 10' x 20' tarp will start as 10 x 20 raw material, but when the edges are hemmed 2 or 3 inches on each size, the nominal size will be about 4" to 6" short in each dimension. so realistically you can expect 9'6" x 19'6", or 9'8 x 19'8". However, this one is almost a foot short on each dimension with 2" hems, so someone is cheating here just a little too much imo. That's not a deal breaker for me, because for the price I really can't complain much for what I'm getting, and it appears pretty sturdy. I would buy again.

We bought these in november and they habent even made it a full year they are completly falling apart. We bought the to.cover portable garages. They do get full sun however tarps typically last a full year. Because of this i would not recomend this product.

Notised small holes after installing over my carport frame. I have just painted the frame and zip tie pool noodles over the sides and peak. The holes appeared to be in the folds. It will work for me, as I'm not going to take it down and send it back. 6 months later , tarp is rotten . just rips right off into small peices. A total wast of money.

So, I read, and then re-read, the dimensions of the tarp. First, it is supposed to be 20x24, which it is not. It was about a foot short. For MY application it would not of mattered. However I read the specs and, as I awaited delivery, made a frame to the size the specs said (temp awning for construction project at house). So, needless to say, it was sort. I made it work. no biggie. I know from every other tarp not to tighten really hard as it rips at the gromets. I didnt pull that hard and three of them ripped at the gromets. It is thick enough for temp use but if you plan on using this for long term, I rec going thicker than 10mm. It lost 1 star for size and 1 star for the gromets (am i spelling that right?) ripping with, seriously, not much pulling.

For basic needs this is OK but NOT heavy duty. We bought a big one to put over a 20ft garage in a box but in the wind and sun you can tell it won't last long. Using under a covered barn or other it would be OK.
