I got this for our garage, which I recently converted into a workout area. For reference, I bought 6 packs and that was enough to cover 200 square ft. The price in total was about $100. I like how the pieces are very easy to assemble. It’s shaped like a puzzle so you just push them together to attach them. I got it all done in less than 10 minutes, minimal effort. I am very satisfied with the result- the padding is very soft and provides just enough cushioning. It’s comfortable to walk on and protects the floor from the weight of my gym equipment. I wear my shoes when I’m working out however so the pads get a lot of buildup dirt and dust. Luckily they are simple to clean, I just use a microfiber mop like this one with a little bit of water. But sometimes I’ll take the time to sanitize it with some cleaner (the same type we use for our hard floors) or white vinegar. You don’t want to add too much water however otherwise it’ll go through the mat and onto the floor. Same thing for cleaners. I also vacuum it from time to time cause well, it’s the garage and it gets dirty down there. I have noticed however that they do become dented under my gym equipment. To be honest, I’m not that surprised- I didn’t expect the foam to be able to hold up all that weight anyways. Another thing…the pieces will sometimes come apart if you’re doing intense workouts. I found a way to fix that though, I put a little bit of glue on the padding and that seems to do the trick. Might be worth a try if you’re having the same problem. Other things: - The surface is texturized which makes it non-slip - You’ll probably end up with a lot of extra edge pieces - The pieces will come apart if you’re moving them around - You can rearrange them very easily - You might have to cut some corners depending on the layout of the room Yeah. They’re not perfect but they work as advertised. I’m glad I got them.

I bought this to go under my baby's play mat. It's on a wood floor, and I hated the sound of his head bonking on the mat, or his heels pounding the floor when he kicks his legs while on his back. The sixteen tile set works great under a 48 inch play mat. It doesn't matter to me, but I got 8 black squares and 8 gray squares. The 16 squares came as 4 sets of four tiles, which is fine because it makes them more portable than one giant 48 inch square mat. After playtime is over, it's easy to pick up and stack the four 2ft square mats behind a door. If you want to assemble a 48 inch by 48 inch mat or two 48in by 24in mats, you'll have to use scissors and cut some of the skinny "end pieces" off. That's not difficult to do, but I am fine with four 24 inch square mats. The foam has a slight smell, which I guess will go away over time. It smells like new athletic shoes, so I'm assuming it's not off-gassing anything deadly or dangerous to breathe in.

Heavy gym equipment will tear this exercise mat. However I do like how it does feel like a comfortable yoga mat where my knee doesn't hurt. The pieces are smaller than expected since the edges are included in the description's measurement. When you tear it off to interlock each other each individual piece is smaller than 12 inches. A tip to interlock this, just remove the edge that has the rounded corner. Leave the other pieces on if you're trying to create a straight edge of your mat. Once you reach a corner, just keep both edges on and assemble!

I used these to make a soft flooring for my dog kennel (which I actually call the dog condo because I don’t like my dogs to feel like it’s not their home) in my heated garage. We have three dogs, one of which won’t sit on hard surfaces so these mats were so nice for him. These are so easy to put in, and keep clean. I would just use the shop vac to suck up the dog hair and a simple deck mop to scrub when needed. I never had to adjust them back to the original position. Two of my dogs are a year old and as puppies do they did find a place to chew through. It would have been perfect for older dogs that are out of the destructive stage. I can’t really fault the product for being soft and not puppy proof. So I would say the durability is 10/10. I will be reinstalling these when the puppies get older.

I was looking for something for my guinea pig room that would be waterproof and easy to clean. I did duct tape the seams to be sure no moisture would make its way to the floor and so far so good. Honestly, I dont think I really even needed the tape, the pieces fit very snugly together but since I am renting, I like the peace of mind. There is no smell, it is easy to clean and I am very pleased.

These tiles are exactly as described. We cut them down for flooring a fun play space in our son's room. I wouldn't use them for a workout floor if you're lifting weights. They'll stand up to play okay but I see them wearing down if you're too active on them. I bought more than I needed in case this happens, they are certainly affordable enough to do that!
