This tote and cosmetic bag set was a great find! The corduroy fabric is excellent quality, seems quite durable (not too thick or too thin), perfect stitching and the sunflower print is gorgeous! The sunflower design looks a bit like a watercolor painting/slightly muted. What makes this tote bag different: The top of the tote bag has a couple pleats and a snap on each side of the opening that make the bag appear more narrow at the top than the bottom. There is also a snap in the middle to close it up and keep your stuff safe inside. Also, the tote bag has a flat bottom so it can stand upright when filled. Both of the bags are fully lined, however, they are lined with different fabric. The tote bag lining is bright white and a thin fabric that reminds me of what umbrellas are made of. The cosmetic bag liner is a creamy yellowish white and a thicker but very similar fabric. I feel like the $15 I paid for this set was a steal and I will most likely buy a few more for my mom and sisters. I love, love, love this tote bag and small zipper bag. The fabric print is so cute and the quality (stitching, fabric, and design ) is top notch. Heavy duty. The tote bag has 3 snaps at the top one on each end and one middle so things just don’t automatically fall out. 2d Update: I also got the blue flowers one. Again, this set of bags could be greatly improved if the lining was sewn in at the bottom and sides, and if the lining was of a different (stiffer) texture than the soft corduroy. As it is, every time you reach into the bag for something, the soft lining pulls up against the soft corduroy, and you land up pulling more out of the bag than you wanted. It is a beautiful set of bags, though - more of a special occasion type bag. You could not put something heavier than a light paperback book in it. Update: This bag and it's accompanying small bag wash well, but the lining does accumulate some small pieces of lint from the corduroy. The lining is also not sewn into the bottom of the bag (or the small bag, either) - you can lift it up. If you do not wash it it a laundry bag, you can put the straps inside the bag to keep them from getting tangled up with the rest of your laundry. The magnetic closures will hold them in place.:) There really needs to be a zipper on the inside pocket. I hung both of these bags up to dry. I think they will dry fairly quickly. Both held their color thru the wash, but I did wash them with other dark items, some of which were black and new, and prone to bleed color when washed. I used cold water. Original Post: This is a really nice, soft bag, in a beautiful color (black), but it is just a little small for the price. I would also like the inside pocket to have a zipper. The 3 magnetic closures at the top are also nice, but a zipper that completely closes the top would be even nicer. The additional, small bag is also a plus. It has a zipper closure. Both are lined, and the lining appears to be sewn in. Both are well made, as is the case with this brand. I have not washed it, so will update after that. Yes, I would buy it again. ... show more

It is very rare for me to order things on Amazon without reading the reviews. This was one of the purchases I bought spontaneously, and I'm so glad I did. I love the corduroy. It's not thick; it's just right. I thought about being safe and ordering the black but decided to order the one that looked the most fun to me - the cherries. I'm so glad I did. The cherries are a beautiful red with a touch of shine. Love it! This is not a huge bag, but it is fairly deep. It would be perfect for a short trip or even a one-night stay. There isn't a zipper, but you don't need one because the bag is deep enough to keep your items in the bag. The print quality is great and so is the quality of the bag itself. It is very well made. No complaints here. I couldn't be happier that I just decided to go for it. Add to that when my granddaughter saw it she fell in love with the cherries and the bag. Her birthday is in a few days so I'll be ordering another one. Love the price. Love the quality. Love the size. Might even order the black one for a purse for me. Hmmm, should I? Absolutely love this bag, using as a purse! First day out with it and I got so many compliments. Durable, good fabric, magnetic closure, plus you get a bonus bag to put the important stuff in so it doesn't just go yo the bottom. Love it! Recommend 10/10.
