I bought these for my granddaughter, she is 10mths. old. I had her sleeping in the center of the bed and she moved around for a while, but was not able to move over the bumpers. Put my mind at ease and she slept comfortable. They are fairly tall and fit well under the fitted sheet. I don't recommend putting the comforter over them, just have the child lay on the sheets, that will keep them deeper on the bed. ... show more

I sometimes bed share, normally we cosleep and they are in a pack n play next to me but some nights he wants to be close to momma and I’ve noticed overall better quality sleep from him when bed sharing. This helps me do it safely. It absolutely stays in place, has little grippers on base and top. I have it under my fitted sheet and it will not budge. It’s a great height. I also think whenever baby grows to toddler bed I can use it as well instead of installing a rail, but will see when the time comes.
