The fabric is perfect linen lookalike . I do wish the Headboard is adjustable. It could be taller. Please be aware of the measurements of the Head Board. I absolutely love this bed! It was surprisingly easy to put together, even with a house full of “helpers” (cats, a dog, and a two-year-old), I had it assembled in under two hours. It looks great and feels sturdy, definitely worth the money. The only small issue I noticed was that the support strap (Velcro strip holding the slats together) was stapled a little unevenly and twisted in places. Unfortunately, this product is very poorly made. When we screwed the screws into the frame itself, we could hear the wood cracking like possibly they may not last very long. When we put the legs on the footboard, they were so crooked at the footboard it wouldn’t even sit level on the floor.
