We finally decided to invest into good quality knife set and wow we are so happy and satisfied with these. We love how easy it was to cut into our delicata squash and how fast it was to chop cilantro. Also, the bread knife really blew me away! It gave me beautiful homemade bread slices.

One of the knives has a rust spot already and has been under a month of using them. That's a bummer. Also, i already had to resharpen them but also that could be because i use them for work as a cook, i like the chef's knife, it's pretty comfortable and the Santoku knife has a nice weight to it, also the box where they came in it's pretty, I've been using it as a carrying case and it's help up decently, its black with a mate finish so it'll show right away if it gets oily. All in all, it's ok for my first set ever, but next time I'll consider something different.

First off, these knives are stunning. I love them and the magnetic base is wicked strong. I do have a question for other owners, the metal base seems a little loose. It’s like a screw is maybe loose but I can’t get to it without ripping off the bottom fabric. Just curious if this is normal or do I have a screw loose:)?

Update. I returned these knives at my local kohl’s and check to make sure the refund came through on my prime credit card only to see this company charged me again for the knives. Seems like a scam of a company. Charge people twice after they refund hoping they don’t notice so you still get paid? I recommend anyone who has purchased these to check your credit card statement for duplicate charges. They charged me when I placed the order and charged me again when they shipped. My bank is currently disputing. Everything else was wrapped brand new in plastic you had to cut off except the scissors. The box had puncture holes at the top and was already bent open. Scissors had dried orange food particles on them and are so dirty and rusty feeling when you open and close. The black handle is full of gouges and scratches. For the amount of money I spent and the quality of knives I’m so confused about these scissors. They feel / look like they came from the dollar store. I’m convinced a returned pair was thrown in my box with my order. I also expected them to have some weight to them but they feel like hollow cheap plastic. My Walmart knife block came with better scissors and that set was $30…. No idea what happened here.

5 STAR!!! I was overly pleased with this purchase. I don't write reviews as I'm not that guy... I have a couple of times but only for bad experiences. I felt like this NEEDED the praise it deserves! Before this set I had a Cuisinart knife set for years mixed in with some Ninja knives I received with a blender. They did the job, they cut things, etc. I just purchased a new home and wanted to reward myself with a new knife set that was beautiful, not crazy expensive, but also gave me a better experience cutting meats, fruits, vegetables. I was BLOWN away how easily these knives ripped through anything I had on the cutting board. One pull through anything and it will slice through whatever you are cutting like butter. I had some company over last weekend and in two separate conversations I was complimented on nothing in my kitchen besides, "OHHH MY GOODNESS LOOK AT YOUR KNIVES THOSE ARE SOOO BEAUTIFUL, WHERE DID YOU GET THEM?" Simplest way to describe them...the color is sexy, the hand grip molds to your hand, and the blades are super sharp. Last thing I want to mention is the weight. They have a heavy feel which makes them feel super sturdy and unbendable. Cheers to my first positive review, and Yatoshi knives coming in for the win!
