The description for this collar says it will fit a small to medium size dog. It will not fit a medium dog. It barely fit around the neck of my small 6 month old puppy. Even though it did fit my puppy, it was too tight. I adjusted the collar the best I could and still too tight. I just took the collar off and will give it to a friend since it was a good deal only costing a few dollars. I felt no need to return it. This is a good, well made collar but just make sure you are getting it for a small dog, not a medium.
