I use mine for alignments on semi's. Use to pull axles forward or backward. Works great no issues. Seems to be the better of the others listed on amazon. Did a lot of comparing and got this one. Looks like a copy of the more expensive ones I've seen.

This thing is surprisingly small but mighty for it's size. It was perfect for lifting a Kohler 20KW whole house generator. We needed to lift the generator off its shipping pallet and put a couple of axles with wheels under it to move it to our concrete pad we made for it then lift it again to remove the wheels and axles and set it on the pad. The generator weighs 550 lbs. This is about half the capacity of the hoist. Very happy with the hoist and it cost less than it would have cost us to have someone move the generator for us. My sons and I easily moved the generator one afternoon with it.

Small enough to stow away. If I had to do it over the only different thing I would do is get a longer chain, but that's all on me. I'ts a nice little hoist that held my 450 lb. riding mower up so I could work on it comfortably without lying on the ground.

I didn’t realize how small this come along was till it arrived, I soon put it to work for the purpose I bought it for, and after hooking my rigging and getting to work I was surprised how well it performed. This compact unit Met my . Expectations , I really got up on this thing with no issues. I recommend it.

good for small jobs but the handle is a little short . heavy water could be a problem to raise and lower, might need lots of muscle to lift and lower.
