This a smaller 1/2 ton come-a-long. It seems to function well though I have not tested it to it's limits. It's a good size for a quick job or keeping in the truck box. I am impressed so far.

I purchased this YATOINTO mini come along, to help move things around the yard. I really like the case it came with, which helps to keep the chain from getting tangled with everything around it. Even my much more expensive ones that I have purchased, didn't come with a case and the chain is always all over the place and getting tangled up with everything around it during storage. The come along is a very small size, but still very handy to lift or move many objects. It works to pull many 4-wheelers or snowmachines that aren't running, onto and off of a tilt trailer. It works nicely to secure things onto this trailer also. It is a nice size to carry on an atv or snowmachine, to help to pull it out 10' at a time, if it gets stuck. It works pretty good for putting some tension on a smaller tree that you want to cut, so that along with your properly placed notches, it helps to guide the tree to a specific spot when they fall. The "action" seems to be pretty smooth so far and has a quick release so you can adjust the length of the chain, without cranking on the chain, link by link. I have several much more expensive ones than this one (2.5x the price of this one) that in my opinion are built better, but then again, I paid 2.5 to 3x the price that this one sells for.

I was using a come a long before from harbor freight but it was very difficult to release the pressure for my application. This one releases very easily and is even easier lifting than the previous setup I was using. You know when you get the box you’re getting a heavy piece of equipment. This will absolutely last me forever given my application. Very well built. Much happier with this setup vs the ratchet strap and come a long setup I used previously. I soak big 55 gallon drums of coco coir and I have to lift the big bushels of coco out of the drums after they have soaked. Easy work with this, work smarter, not harder!

So, we mow a lot. Our yard is big. Country setting... so the ground is sometimes uneven, with rocks, sticks, etc. etc. We are constantly repairing the mower, changing the blades, patching the tires. It's tiring. This chain hoist makes it a little bit better - now the guys can hoist the mower up to fix, patch, repair, change! It's a lot easier. The chain hoist works exactly as it should. I would buy this again. If something happens to the one I have now, I WILL buy another one!

This chain hoist is exactly what I needed to help around the house and the yard. I was leery at first when I opened the box because of the size of it, yet I find it perfect for my needs. It’s very compact and comes in its own nice storage bag. I'm using it for now as a "come along" to help pull down some smaller trees in the backyard, as well as to lift some heavier items in the workshop. The nice thing about this set is how compact it actually is and that you can take it anywhere. It doesn’t take up any room at all, it’s about the size of an adult shoe so if you want to keep it in the trunk of your vehicle or in your workshop it'll always be handy. **For the size, quality & great price it gives you the power that you need to get a heavy job done safely! It's exactly what I needed & surpassed my expectations!

This chain hoist is very Compact and comes in a small canvas pouch to store it in. I think it will be very handy to have to help lift small logs while cutting them and for using as a come along for loading equipment. Overall the quality of the hoist is pretty good. The only thing I don't like as far as the materials are concerned is the loop handle feels like it's made out of plastic but I have not verified. This will definitely come in handy if you're having to do much heavy lifting by yourself.
