    • Very easy to use one handed
This yarn winder is very easy to use and you could even do it one handed if you were unable to use both hands. It is kind of easy for the yarn to get tangled up once it gets to a certain size (usually past the little base that it’s being wound up on) so if you want to do larger balls of yarn pay attention otherwise you’ll spend more time untangling the yarn then it took to create the tangle. Usually the easiest way to undo the tangle without cutting it is to remove the piece that holds the ball of yarn and then I can remove the yarn by winding it through the gears sort of when it gets tangled. It’s tedious but I haven’t had to cut any yarn yet. I totally forgot about all the accessories that it comes with so that was a pleasant bonus, I love the little scissors especially, they’re very handy.
