Lots of late night research proved these knives to be what I was looking for. 72 folds damascus steel. Sandlewood handles. Good weight and balance in hand. I didn't want any shears or block so this was perfect for me. VERY sharp! Comes in a custom cut out display/storage box. Lifetime warranty.

These knives are a good value, not inexpensive by any means. They are extremely sharp, I did add a little additional stroping just to see how good the steel was. It’s very good (hard steel) the best I can tell. The knives are thin which I like. I don’t recommend and bending or twisting as they may be deformed or crack. The big knife is not really a cleaver.
