I blew out the hose that came with my pressure washer, so I ordered this one. It arrived overnight, early the next morning. My first impression when I opened the box and picked it up: this thing is HEAVY, as in heavy-duty. It has a thick rubber outer covering over woven stainless over the inner hose. it has reinforced ends to prevent sharp bending. It's rated at 4000 PSI. My pressure washers run at 3200 PSI. *It makes the original hose that came with the pressure washer look like a soda straw.* What about using it? Will it lie flat? It wants to lie flat. I had no trouble unwinding it and laying it out flat between the pump and the wand. The hose that came with the unit was always coiling up and kinking, but this one DEMANDS to be laid flat, and actually helps you do it. What a joy to work with. Then it coils right back up for storage. I don't know if I could kink it if I tried. It's easy to connect to my existing equipment. It comes with two quick-connect 3/8" adapters, one male and one female, that screw onto the M22 threads that are standard on my pressure washers. The 3/8" quick connects fit with my existing quick-connects on my other pressure washers , hoses, and wands, so I can make up a really long hose quickly if I need it, or trade wands as conditions require. This appears to be one of the best purchases I have made, especially when you consider the price. Only time will tell if it is going to last, but I'm betting on this brute of a hose.

I actually like this better than my Uberflex hoses . I have less kinking with this one and seems solid. This would be my goto hose in future for price and what I am getting .

Well - it's a 3-4 star product over all. The material itself and as far as it goes for now - well put together at a fair price point. -- However, what I am finding out is that unless one has those swivels at the hose end points, while this is a far tougher hose - kinking is still an issue. I'd rather have this one over others I've used. I find that I still need to unwind the *entire* hose and keep an eye on it's "memory" to loop. That's where the "swivel" points, or at least at the Wand/Gun will help. For me, 50 Ft is about a good user limit and will effect the PSI anyway and most are rated with e.g., 25 Ft, whatever their "psi" may be, etc. So, again, so far this will hold up better and when it DOES kink - you won't collapse the hose or damage it if paying attention. And, scuffing is less of an issue. - I think to qualify that I use this on a >3000 psi gas washer; and that is different from any electric I've used. The pressure and GPM put the washers in it's own class, imo. And, imo at 3500 - 4000 psi one is likely not washing their car/motorcycle, etc. and is paying "attention". The pressure in my experience comes from the tip, and it's back pressure - nevertheless it's a different kind of User and Washer purpose. So, with my "new" to me washer, this hose, after two prior in the past weeks is the one for my setup along with a wand/gun base with it's "made with" swivel in the hose-in attachment, and rated higher than the washer (hoping for more "heavy duty" - will last scenario). I am very careful with my tools and keep them forever, or decades, not rough or careless. I think this should ? last 2 - 3 seasons, but may/*will need replacement as a point of failure/safety I'll add in this. The other hoses for some reason (the higher psi Gas unit I think) will last *one* project or season and in some manner will look like or actually need to be replaced. (From "normal" use, I had one let go of it's hose end, but, or even did not have it's "center" hose properly mounted to it's hose end - surprised it lasted that long - a few hours) - nevertheless for similar price point etc., then went to this. I hope that helps - again, at this price point - just get this one, imo; and just automatically unwind *all of it and be patient rolling it back up (it will be "twisting" when you loop it - just how it goes.

Best hose I've had in while You must unroll the hose completely and untwist. When done pull hose straight with the sprayer detached and wind up with some twisting. If you do it correctly, you will not have the negative results that some of these reviews mention.

This 25-foot hose is light and uncoils OK. It’s not great at uncoiling but it’s a LOT better than the 50-foot version of this hose that I also own that is miserable to uncoil. I use this hose for washing my vehicles because it is light. Be sure to fully uncoil this hose before you connect it to your pressure washer. Once the hose is pressurized with water, it’s very difficult to uncoil. My 2-star deduction is for the coiling issue and the fittings which are low quality and very hard to disconnect because the sliding collar tolerances on the female end and the surface of the male end are cheaply made and they are difficult to remove and replace with proper fittings. The same holds true for the 50-foot hose - junk fittings. The photo shows the new stainless fittings on the left-hand side that I used to replace the original fittings on the right-hand side. Look closely at the photo and you can see that the new stainless fittings on the left I are just better made. Needing new fittings makes this Yamatic hose not as good a deal as it seems The slide collar on the new female stainless end slides much easier than the copper-colored OEM fitting despite me lubricating the OEM collar. I have a well-equipped shop and removing the OEM fittings required my big bench vise and a 30 inch piece of pipe on a combination wrench. Several of the 1-star reviews state that folks lacking the right tools could not remove the OEM connectors. Those reviews are totally accurate and understandable. Once I wrenched the OEM fittings off, I threw them into the bin - don’t want to accidentally use them down the road because they are junk. If you buy this hose, you will like its light weight, but you won’t like the fittings. Good luck removing them if you are an average homeowner and not a gear head with the right tools. Hope this helps.
