It washed well, it holds its color and does not roll at the edges when dried. They fold neatly on top of each other. I have only washed them once, they are not -super absorbent (like cheese cloth or a paper towel), but they do the job and they look like the ones Nana and Mom had when I grew up. Nice colors, however I did not get to use them, had to send back, 1 of them completely came unraveled on 1 side just after 1 washing. Too bad, they looked good but fell apart.

Long search for these, and recommend 100%. Well constructed--no shrinkage, seams are well sewn, holding up well after 5 washes. Perfect size--not too small, but not so large that when you wipe counters they bunch up. Fabric is thick enough they should last a long time, but thin enough they easily dry out overnight in average humidity.
