Love this mouthpiece. Had a plain old Yamaha 3 piece. Don’t be surprised when you can’t play as well at first it will take time to break in as to be expected. Broke this mouthpiece within a week now I sound amazing. As I recently got promoted to lead trumpet in marching band this definitely helps!

    • This is a really nice mouthpiece over all ranges!
What I liked most, the beautiful full tone it achieved. low and mid ranges were easy to play. The higher range which is tough for me personally on other mouth pieces, was not too good, but its probably because I'm not playing correctly or something.I think I could hit a high A below high C. so yeah, some people can squeal and rip higher notes on this for sure. its designed to help. it did help because when I compared it to my 7c, 3c, 1-1/2c mouthpieces it was the only mouthpiece that helped my high notes at all. it takes less air effort to achieve high notes with this if you can kind of hit them using a 3c. If you can, then this mouth piece is a real nice one to add to your collection. ... show more

SO SO SO comfortable hitting high notes with this mouthpiece and even low notes. Practice low notes on this mouthpiece though! It is sometimes tricky to get a full low note on this but after practice it’s fine. But mouthpiece are customizable and whatever fits your fancy go ahead. The cup is shallow but not too shallow and the aesthetic of it is pleasing. I believe my sound improved practicing along with this mouthpiece. ... show more
