First of all, I need to say I'm not professional guitarist. I am like a campfire guitarist. I have some reviews here. This not an average acoustic guitar. It is a classical guitar. It has great sound if you know how to play it. It does not have a pick guard, nor an adjustable truss rod. Not many classical guitars do. Do your research first. I think this thing is phenomenal. I received with some blemishes on the face of it. It's not perfect for classical orchestra, but it did not cost $1000+, as some classical guitars can. I'm 50 and started playing at 12, so I've owned a lot of guitars in my day. Outside of the Honor headless steinberger I should never got rid of, this is the best guitar I've ever had. I don't even play any of my others guitars that cost way more. This is the only one I play.

Didn’t come in standard tuning but easy fix. The only complaint I have is a very small crack on the fretboard but it doesn’t effect playing so it’s not too bad. Pretty good sounds and good spacing on the strings.

Well made. Beautiful really. My new fidget spinner. It sounds fine in B standard tuning. I'm looking for an extra hard string set equal to the heavy 6 of a 7 string set. This is for my classical crab core band.

I trust Yamaha as a brand but the guitar I received went out of tune very quickly. Now I understand that nylon stringed guitars go out of tune quicker than steel string guitars. But compared to the other nylon stringed guitars I own this C40II was disappointing.

I was a little skeptical of trying a Yamaha classical after spending so many years playing with Cordoba. Not only were my expectations met, but they were blown away. I’ve been wanting to get a acoustic guitar and this was perfect!!! I’ve been getting a hang of it so far, but it sucks since there’s no case or anything included so if your a beginner looking to get a acoustic guitar I recommend this and getting a capo with picks and guitar stand too!!
