  • Good but a little gritty
I like these pads for exfoliation but they have a strong alcohol scent and they’re a little gritty. They’re definitely very effective but might not be good if you have sensitive skin.

  • Great pads! Smooth, soft, brighter skin! Cut the pads in half to make ‘em last!
These pads have some of the ingredients I love - Niacinamide, Azelaic Acid, Glycolic Acid, and Salicylic Acid. It claims to help with acne and dark spots, both of which are an issue for me. So, I was excited to give these a try! 🔹Comes in a basic jar with a twist off top. The jar didn’t have a safety seal, which surprised me. I guess they felt since it came in an outer product box, a safety seal wasn’t necessary? But, I would expect it to have a safety seal, especially at this price point. I was also surprised because the jar looked half empty! There was 30 pads, but why use such a big jar when it’s only half filled? It’s weird! 🔹Pads are pretty thin, which can make it hard to get just 1. It’s easy to accidentally grab 2 or 3. I definitely recommend making sure you only have 1 so you’re not wasting them! They have a quilted kind of pattern, which seems to provide a slight exfoliating effect. It doesn’t feel rough at all. The pads are moist enough, but there isn’t much product in the bottom, so I really hope these don’t dry out before I get a chance to use them all! I’ve had that happen in the past with other pads that just didn’t have enough product in the jar. 🔹For use it says to leave on for 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with tepid water and wash cloth. If you’re u have sensitive skin or during dry cool weather, leave it on for 3-5 minutes instead. After use, follow up with a moisturizer. Wait 2 days between each use. Once your skin gets used to the product, you can increase frequency. 🔹The product on the pads has a serum type consistency, but does feel slightly oily. I liked it though. It provided a nice slip to move the pad around on my face and felt moisturizing. It didn’t leave my skin feeling oily at all. 🔹I have normal to dry skin, more on the dry side with some extremely dry areas. I don’t have sensitive skin at all. So, I decided to leave it on for the 10-15 minutes, depending how it felt as I was waiting. Initially I could feel a slight tingling. At around the 6 minute mark, I could definitely tell it was working and started to reconsider the 10-15 minutes wait time! It wasn’t uncomfortable at all, but I didn’t want to irritate my skin either. So, at that point it had been about 8 minutes and I rinsed it off. My skin didn’t look red or irritated at all. It felt nice and smooth. I applied a moisturizer and went to bed. The next morning my skin felt so soft and smooth and looked brighter! I waited the 2 days and then used it again, this time keeping it on for the full 10 minutes. I’m not sure if I’ll move up to the 15 minutes or if I’ll just use the pads every other day instead. But, for now, I’ve been liking using a pad every 2 days and keeping it in for 10 minutes. 🔹FINAL THOUGHTS I like products where I can actually FEEL them doing their thing! With skin care, it takes time to really see results. But, it’s hard to wait for that because most of the time you don’t physically feel the skin care working. So when I use products where I do feel it working I’m excited to see what the results are! I can really feel these pads working! I can see and feel how soft and smooth my skin feels! They don’t dry out or irritate my skin at all. A lot of pads like these can make my skin feel dry and stripped, but these pads don’t. My skin feels moisturized, soft, and smooth and looks brighter. I’m excited to see what continued use will do! These are pretty darn expensive, especially for only 30 pads. Since the pads are moist enough, I recommend cutting them in half so you get 60 pads! I did that and I hope that they don’t dry out before I finish them! ... show more

  • Effective for my T-zone, but not mild enough for my entire face + very pricey (not sealed)
This seems to be a very well formulated and effective skin care product, but it isn't quite as gentle as I expected. I have very dry, dehydrated skin that tends to become rough. It is also quite sensitive, so I did carry out a spot test on the back of my hand and on the inner aspect of my forearm. I din't experience any problems, so I went head and tried it on my face the next day. I followed the suggestion to leave it on for less than five minutes as suggested for first time users. There was a sensation of tightening and a bit of sting, so I actually didn't quite make it to five minutes before rinsing this away. My skin felt very clean but stripped and dry and it stayed red for several hours afterward, even after using a moisturizer (as recommended). I specifically wanted to try this product for the purported benefits on my enlarged pores; they are mostly on my nose and chin, so for the second use, I limited application to those areas with a much better outcome. I will probably use this once a week or so. I'm happy to have gotten the chance to try this product as it is quite expensive and I probably would have never known about it (or the brand, for that matter) if it hadn't been available for review through the Vine program. I was a bit surprised that the pads are not really soaking wet -- they are moist, but there isn't any excess fluid inn the jar. I hope the pads don't get dried out before I get a chance to use them all. At first I thought I might have received a return (I can't really rule that out -- see below) or maybe some of the fluid had leaked, but I checked the brand's website and the product in the pictures looks exactly the same as what I received. The pads are small but fairly thick and they are heavily texture. They are very sturdy. Neither the box nor the product itself was sealed which I would certainly expect for a product in this price range (current $90.00). So perhaps I did receive a return which would be the fault of Amazon and not the brand, so I didn't take off. a star. There are only 30 pads in the container (a nice, but rather basic jar and twist-off lid) and I will be happy to use them up, but this is not something I would purchase again. I can't really justify the price, so I did take off one star for that reason. ... show more

  • Works well
This product takes a bit of getting used to. It's SERIOUSLY strong! Be sure to read the directions first. I washed and dried my face and then used a pad to apply the formula. The pads themselves are a little abrasive which I kind of like. It goes on sort of oily which seems strange for a product created to help acne - but about the time you finish washing your hands you start to feel something happening and five minutes into it you're very aware that the formula is doing it's thing. That's about the time I started to think I needed to ease my skin into this process, so I washed it off after about 8 minutes total and then used moisturizer. My face was pinkish for about 15 minutes after that - and then it was fine and I forgot all about. Until the next day when I have to admit, my skin looked smoother and brighter! I waited three days and then went in for a second try. This time I think I waited 10 minutes before washing it off. I don't know that I'll ever do the suggested 15 minutes; that seems a lot and I like the results I'm getting with 8-10 minutes just fine. Time will tell if it helps with acne, but I do like what it's doing for my skin so far. I read elsewhere that you can cut the pads in half so that you can get twice as many applications. Brilliant! I think there's plenty of formula in there to handle that, and you can definitely get by on half a pad. That doubles the value of this product, making it much more reasonably priced with little extra effort. ... show more
