I'm actually quite impressed with the quality for what it costs. To be honest, it took me about 2 hours to put it together. It's heavier and sturdier than i expected. I'm a small person in 60's. Have all the parts organized by the numbers so it's easy to put it to together. I recommend using a drill to tighten up some of the screws which will save you some time. The instructions are pretty easy to follow. Need to really look at the pictures in the instructions carefully before you start putting things together so you don't make mistakes. It's pretty durable except for the bottle of the drawers. It's on more thin side but seems to hold all my tools in the drawers well. That's the only negative thing I can think of. It looks like quality furniture both esthetically and material wise, and best of all, I can put my printer on top without worrying about falling over because it comes with secure metal string attachments to the wall on both sides. The swing door closes really well due to the magnetic attachment and the drawers open and close smoothly. I really love it and highly recommend. ... show more

Writing this review will be a 2 fold one the cabinet very lovely as pictured very sturdy as described the color is as described as well it looks lovely in my bathroom where it was designated to go fit exactly in the spot by the dimensions all of those things were just as described, Now the to the other side of the fold putting this lovely and useful well designed cabinet was a all day affair with several screw drivers , several screw bits , lots of patients and some breaks and choice words do to the abundance of micro screws involved and micro holes they fit in , The process lasted hours and 2 but mostly 1 due interference of unnecessary input lol. So I must say it does take time and patience if you have it then you'll be the proud owner of this lovely cabinet. I will say all the parts were there undamaged , And in just a couple days of ordering , So overall the experience was all worth it . There was no odor. ... show more

We live in an apartment and have used a plastic 4-tier shelf for many, many years. It was always collecting dust and items looked scattered. I came across this item on Amazon and I loved the simplicity and organization it provided. It was time to replace the shelf for a cleaner, more organized appearance in the bathroom. My daughter and I put it together with a screwdriver. It was easy to put together. There were some simple instructions missing (like the knob and metal piece to connect to magnet when door shuts), but with common sense you know what to do. There were also instructions to screw in screws in the back board to the unit, but there were no pre-drilled holes so we just omitted that. It does not affext functionality by omitting. We also did not put the drawer stops in the drawers except for one, so we can pull them all the way out if needed. There was one drawer front that was the right shape but cut wrong and drilled wrong, so the last drawer could not be completed, but the company is sending a replacement. They communicated very quickly to resolve the issue. Only 4 stars because of the strong smell and we have chemical sensitivities, but hopefully the smell will dissipate with time. It is a beautiful unit once together and held so many things. It is very helpful. We can fit 8 rolls of toilet paper on each shelf if needed, but we just use one shelf and the others for storage. Small plastic storage bins from DG fit perfectly in there! This unit will likely not be large enough for storing bath towels, but could hold washcloths and hand towels. I was also able to fit a large Softsoap refill bottle and shampoos and cleaners on the shelves. Hairbrushes fit perfectly in the drawer with a slight bit of room...that's about the length of the inside of the drawers, to give you an idea. This little cabinet is the exact size needed to fit into my bathroom. I had a couple of glitches with the instructions, mainly I think, because its not an intuitive build. But after studying the images and letting go of my preconceived idea of how it would go together I did fine. The cabinet is sturdy and works as it should. All the parts and pieces were labeled and extra hardware was included. I suggest using an electric screw driver or drill for all the screws since there are so many. Considering the reasonable cost, this cabinet is well worth the time it takes to put it together. I bought the white one, then primed and painted it to match the other cabinetry in my bathroom and it looks great. Since it is factory painted MDF, I used a bonding sealer/primer made for glossy surfaces. Then painted with latex cabinet paint. I did switch out the little door knob for one that more closely matches the others in the room. ... show more

What we have here is a very serviceable, sturdy, relatively inexpensive piece of furniture that for me solves a clutter problem. It's the same height as the existing vanity counter, fits in the space behind the door, and I can put all the junk (hair cutter, razor, bandages, antibiotic, these are not related I swear, flashlight for some reason, air freshener, etc) from the counter in the drawers and cabinet plus some other stuff that needs a home, and I can use the top for overflow cos it's the same height as the vanity. Recommended over the other versions, and I looked at a LOT of versions before deciding to get this one. Instructions say it should take about an hour to put together. Assembly took me about 2.5 hours after work, including sorting parts to confirm everything's there and checking for damage. Not counting the dinner break in the middle. The sorting and the break prob slowed me down, but also, I prefer to take my time. There's a number of very similar designs of this cabinet around on Amazon and elsewhere; based on reviews of those and my direct experience, this one has these advantages: * two shelves -- although, what's not clear in the listing is that only the upper shelf is adjustable; the lower one is fixed. * drawer stops. they're thin plastic plugs and may not hold up to violent yanking, but better than nothing ... * the back is slotted into the panels, not attached solely with screws * both sides of every part is painted -- no ugly brown if you put a drawer bottom in upside down! * I like that there's a trim piece at the bottom front, less likely for small things to roll under. Issues: * the back panels are supposed to be screwed to a support bar at the top. These are the only screws without corresponding pre-started holes on the part to be attached to, and I had trouble getting them started. If I'd looked ahead I'd have tapped a starter hole in. * some parts have dowels to guide parts together. these could have been longer, or maybe the holes a little smaller so they'd fit more snugly. I cracked the center wall panel (not enough to cause real damage, but it's only MDF) because I wasn't paying close enough attention to the alignment, cos most of the dowel was sunk into the part next to it. * the "anti-tip wall attachment", or whatever it's being called here, amounts to two angle brackets and a zip-tie. I wouldn't trust it. * some screws on the drawers feel like they stripped. the parts are holding together for me; if concerned, maybe add glue or thread locker. ... show more

Nice when finished. The instructions are TRASH!! We have a lot of pieces we have no clue what to do with???????? Definitely should do better on that part. Its wobbling but its finished ….
