This is a cheaper alternative to an industrial button maker. It works fine, but there is a learning curb. I had no issues creating 5 different buttons using old comics, but my partner struggled making their first 2 buttons. In total we've made about 15 buttons and 13 out of the 15 had no issues. I own an industrial button maker and when I first started making buttons I had a similar success rate. I would say this product is an awesome way to dip your toes into button making or as a fun hobby button maker. I don't see it working well for businesses as the quality is on the lower end, but in comparison to an industrial button maker I would say this machine is worth the price. I will say my only issue with this product is the fact that some of the film I got was damaged in the packaging.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PHOTO MAGNET BUTTON MAKER!! I ordered this kit to make magnets with my granddaughters during a weekend sleepover. We followed the instructions and it was so easy and fun to use. The included Canva template was an added surprise to be able to print photos the correct size to make the magnets. Also included were blank white sheets that my granddaughter used to decorate and make into magnets. The quality of the machine is great, especially for the price. From my 7 year old granddaughter to a 65 year old grandma it was easy and fun to use. So happy with my purchase! In fact, I am so happy with the photo magnet maker that I purchased a new Epson color inkjet printer so I could print better quality photos! Thank you!!!

Fun project for kids. You get what you paid for. The press does not close the magnet all the way and all the time. I had about 1/10 close properly every time. Good enough for my 5 year to make magnet creations and presents for her teachers and family. Also I chipped my thumb while pressing. No matter how much a changed the pressure on the press, it never consistently pressed perfect close. Giving 4 stars because it is good to keep my kid busy.

I bought a cutter a couple months ago not realizing that I also needed a press to complete these magnets! I'm using my QR code to access my online business card (I'm a performing musician with one other player), and wanted to level it up by sealing the code in a fridge magnet. This machine arrived yesterday and I was able to create a magnet to take to work lastnight. I plan to offer these magnets to customers so they will keep my card on their fridge. I'm so glad I got this little press, I think it will be as effective as the big metal ones. It comes with a Canva template and a You Tube link, and plenty of support. A tiny learning curve but worth it. Just be sure and crimp it really tight in the last step!

Very difficult to use I messed up at least 12 buttons trying to get one. And it doesn’t stay together for even afterwards. It starts to separate. I’ve watched YouTube videos and did it slowly pressed long and hard and still I had to use crazy glue and other things to keep them together. Worse product wasted money. Do not buy

This kit is very easy to use and comes with everything you need to get started. We made photo magnets and they turned out great. It’s perfect for crafting at home. The machine works well and feels sturdy. We had so much fun using it!

Its is really fun for a hobby or craft, but if you're wanting to sell magnets this is not it. The machine doesnt crip all around the metal and causes the magnets to fall apart very easily.
