We bought this back in September for my son‘s birthday, and it was obviously too cold out to play it here in Nebraska. Yesterday we opened it up to play some baseball in the front yard and the ball return doesn’t even work first time we’ve ever used it now I have a $90 paperweight. Christmas gift. Finally got to use it as the weather is warming up. Also got Brand new Energizer max D batteries for it. Purchased extra dimpled balls and extra towers to hold the extra training balls. Very inconsistent pitching. Too high then bounces the next pitch from same distance. Thought this would be a good tool to help my 8 year old but not. Wasted $90 and have a disappointed kid as he was pumped to get to use it ... show more

    • Not what we hoped for ...
We were excited to try this electronic baseball pitcher, but unfortunately it didn’t live up to expectations. It comes with special balls that are quite different from real baseballs—lighter and smaller—which makes practicing feel less realistic. The pitching mechanism is also inconsistent; it doesn’t throw the same way each time, which makes it hard for my son to get into a rhythm or build confidence. He gave it a few tries, but between the unpredictable pitches and the unfamiliar balls, it just wasn’t enjoyable. Ultimately, it’s been sitting unused. I appreciate the idea behind the product, but it needs some serious improvements to be truly helpful for young players. ... show more
