Took me less than an hour to build as a single person. It is so cute and holds a lot of weight. The perfect size for my queen mattress. This mattress was incredibly easy to build. I thought about hiring someone to build it for me, but I’m so glad I didn’t because it wouldn’t have been worth the money. I built it all alone and it took less time than it said it would. The directions were clear and easy to follow. One thing to note: you do need an electric drill which the instructions note, but you should know this to prepare for before you buy and try to assemble. There isn’t a lot of steps but it is recommended that you follow the directions and read before trying to apply them. The bed is structurally sound and can hold a lot of weight. Sturdy, not squeaky, durable and good height. I got it for my 5yo when I redid her room and she loves it. I also put it together by myself at 33 weeks pregnant so it’s not difficult at all if you have a few capable brain cells. If not, ask for help maybe. Had this bed for a couple weeks now. It holds up really well and looks really pretty in the bedroom. The frame is a good color and soft, so I can sit up and read or work in bed. It was pretty easy to put together, but a little confusing at the end. Tools were included, but it's easier to assemble if you have an electric screwdriver. Extremely disappointed with this bed frame. I honestly regret buying this. Assembly was an absolute nightmare. The instructions were confusing, and putting the frame together took way more time and effort than it should have. But the bigger issue is the quality. The wooden frame feels cheap, weak, and nowhere near as sturdy as advertised. The moment we sit down on the bed, the frame moves and actually comes down/sags under the weight. It feels like the whole thing is struggling to support us. A bed frame should feel solid and secure—not make you nervous every time you sit on it. For the price, I expected something durable and well-built, but this feels poorly designed and cheaply made. Cute bed! an electric drill Is required for some parts. ordered a queen size frame, but it’s more of a full size so it is a little small for a queen size mattress and it hangs off the on the bottom ledge
