I did not purchase this bench to use as a potting bench, I wanted a cute mud kitchen for my grandsons. It does not disappoint. It was sturdy, easy assembly, picture instructions, which took about an hour. We then disassembled the bottom shelves and cut about 12 inches off as my boys r 3 and 1 yrs. Then reassembled and screwed short shelf as backing to one side of the open back. Applied danish oil as a protectant. Looks fantastic in the yard and the boys love it. Could see it making a fantastic outdoor bar as well. Love the design. “Sink” arrived with a crack even though it was packaged well. I contacted seller thru Amazon, they replied promptly, asked for photo of damaged piece and r sending replacement. I applied sealing tape to damaged piece as a temp fix until new piece arrives. ... show more

This is a great (and beautiful!) temporary garden space or would work perfect for small spaces or smaller gardening operations. I’m in my garage right now until we can get a green house built and it works perfectly! It’s a little flimsy but does a great job!!

The media could not be loaded. I got this for us to put in the garage once it’s warmer but it’s inside for now. I bought it during Amazon’s spring deal event for $108. Mind you, $108 you can’t be expecting high quality wood, so yes, there’s a few spots the wood split but it didn’t keep us from being able to put it together or mess up the hold of the structure. The drawers inside wood was also warped and didn’t flush together but the drawer still works and serves its purpose. As for putting it together, it’s not hard- people who wrote that it’s hard just didn’t want to read or actually turn pieces to fit. You have to PUT IT TOGETHER. It is a process though and I’d suggest a power drill. Overall it’s a good looking piece, holds a lot, has great features, is light weigh and easy to move (I’d say maybe 10 lbs) and is affordable. 9/10 ... show more

This is a nice looking, light weight (but sturdy) and functional garden or work bench. It is light enough to move around easy and sturdy enough that you don't feel it is going to crack from a move. The instruction pictures can be a little deceiving. Need to pay attention to the details. The diagram does not always show the proper angle to know if you are holding the piece correctly. If you go slow and pay attention it does go together properly. I initially was rushing and misaligned some pieces. However, it was very easy to take back apart and start again. I used only a screw driver and hand tightened. The wood is soft (hence being light weight) and the screws could crack through easy at times if tightening pressure is too much. I managed to only have that happen once on me. Overall I am very happy with the product. ... show more

This arrived quickly and took the handyman an hour and a half to put together and because he does this for a living and I know him well I’m guessing I would’ve never been able to do it even though I’m pretty handy myself. I’m disappointed as to the size be sure you take note of how tall it is it’s definitely a mini size, the wood is so disappointing it’s a nice soft gray color but soft is the keyword here I think you could make a dent in that wood with your finger nail. I have no idea how to protect it in the elements and bringing it inside every time it gets bad out or buying an expensive cover seems to defeat the purpose.     • Cheap wood, beware!

I suppose it's a good price but unfortunately it's not even up to par for what's being charged. There are several pieces that the manufacturer nails together but 2 of mine were already falling apart before I even started assembling. The wood itself is light as air, totally unfinished & splinters apart when you screw pieces together. I would have returned it but since I was already halfway there with building it I decided to keep going. So far I'm on my second coat of sealing it with a wipe on poly in the hopes that it'll last through a few seasons but honestly, I'll be shocked if this thing doesn't rot before it's a year old. The wood is so dry and unfinished it soaked up the poly in a second, it will take 3 or 4 coats to get this thing to be even slightly weatherproof. So if you're up for a DIY experience of sanding splintered wood, sealing the whole thing, and having to re-hammer the pieces they sent then go for it, otherwise save your money and get something that will last as advertised! ... show more
