This bench gets good ratings for looks and, probably, durability, since it's metal. The vendor, however, gets zero stars. We haven't been able to assemble it, as there wasn't enough hardware. Contacted the vendor, they respond requesting pictures of the problem, they say they are out of stock of those particular parts, and then they respond with unfinished sentences, like "perhaps we could"....what?. Definitely terrible people to deal with. Shame. It's a nice bench.

This bench came quickly, was easy to assemble with tools provided and is very sturdy. The only complaint I have is the craftsmanship the back of the bench. The finish of the seat and arms are smooth. I tried to show a detailed photo of the back, but it is very rough, with snaggy pieces of metal. It is an entirely different kind of a surface. From afar, it looks fine. But up close, It has rusted and is a liability for children. It can easily get on hands and ruin clothing. It is a beautiful piece. It’s too bad that the finish they use for the rest of the bench is not on the back piece.

Good product, filled the space next to our front door nicely. Just be mindful of where you assemble the bench because the finish can scratch pretty easily. I’d put it together on carpet, or open the cardboard box all the way and use it as an assembly mat. If you try putting together on concrete it will definitely scratch. If it does just hit the scratch with a black permanent marker. Assembly is much easier with a second person as well. Overall we’re happy.

The item was not difficult to assemble and appears to be sturdy. However, in less than 3 months it has started to rust on seat back at top and bottom of back. I wish I could return but window has closed
