I bought one for the living room and one for the reading room, they'll get fairly regular use and I'm pretty confident that they will last a while. The first one I assembled was a little rickety, but the screw-in "feet" at the bottom of the legs straightened it out. I was a little more strategic in how I tightened up the bolts on the second chair and it came out perfect with no adjustment needed. These chairs are beautiful!! Putting them together was frustrating. Must be VERY careful screwing it too tight or it will pop out the visible side and split the wood. I did this with twice out of 4 chairs. They need to make the screw a tad smaller. Other than that I absolutely love them. Very comfortable.
