I have 2 cats, one that is about 7 and a half pounds and another hefty boy, who is about 17 1/2 pounds. They got a lot of use out of their old tree, and it was time for a replacement. I was looking for something that was a similar size and color, but that was not going to break the bank. I was pleasantly surprised when I came across this one. It was the same height as my old cat tree, but a little more narrow, which we actually preferred, given where it is located in our home. It was fairly easy to put together, the directions were easy to follow, and my cats took to it right away. It seems very stable and does not wobble when they jump in our out of it. If you want it to be a little more secure, it also came with wall anchors, which was a nice surprise. It seems sturdy and hefty, but not too heavy to move when you need to clean and there was no odd smell. I would absolutely recommend this item if you are in need of a new one or replacing an old one. Apart from a late shipping date, once I actually received it the product itself is excellent. Easy and fast to put together, feels high quality, came with all tools needed (just one Allen wrench), and looks nice. And clearly the kittens absolutely love it. I run a neonatal rescue foster program for kittens, little bottle feeders that need care for local pet orgs, and these ones are between 3 and 4 weeks old and they took to it immediately before I even had a chance to introduce them to it. They're still too little to understand the next floor up, but they are all over the first two floors. Hard to see in the pics is the little black kitten inside the round house too. The material is soft so they are loving the feel of it and immediately used the scratcher posts for scratchies. Well worth it. ... show more

Went together fairly easy. There was no safety strap to attach it to a wall even though the hardware was in the bag. Seems pretty sturdy since it has a wide base. The 2 pedestals won’t last very long. There’s one bolt each to hold these on. I know these will get wobbly soon. But seems like a good product for the price I paid and the babies get a new Christmas present ... show more

The first thing you should know is that I have too many cats, so cat towers don't really last long in this house. I've gone through a few in the last few years. The cats were fine with the others, but the moment this was put together things were different. There's never a free spot open on this thing! They love the beds and the bottom hammock. All 3 are really soft. I have one cat that's not gotten in any tower I've owned that I find sleeping in one of the beds regularly now. It was very easy to put together and is more sturdy than most I've gotten. My only complaint--with all these towers--is that the sisal rope used for the scratching posts isn't the slightest bit durable. It will have to be replaced pretty quickly. But I can't fault this model for doing things the way all these companies do with cat towers so I still think it deserves 5 stars. Just plan on buying replacement rope for the posts to extend the life of this tower. Your cats are going to want it forever! ... show more
