I needed a pretty small table to go in the kitchen and this definitely fit the bill. I was a bit weary at first but honestly, the dude who posed himself and his girlfriend at the table for his review really sold it to me. Lol. The backs of the chair are not full backs. The top reaches about mid back. It has a stool with a back to it kind of feel. It's pretty comfortable actually. We just use it to have breakfast and coffee in the mornings. If you need a tiny table for adults, this is definitely it. It could be used for kids if needed but it's not kid sized as one reviewer put it. My 7 year old could use it pretty comfortably but any smaller and its too big for them.

This table set is the perfect fit for My small kitchen for appearance sake. It was difficult to assemble (chairs) even with instructions. The seating size are really for small children 10 and under. Doesn't appear this small on the site. It's cute and quaint good for My small grandchildren.
