I'm using this with a City Cruiser 8.5 and it fits fine. Having the balance of the 3rd wheel makes the board go faster than rated. It's rated at 9mph, but I've clocked 12mph which is faster than (non-olympians) can run and fast enough to feel the wind in your face. But it's not all about the top speed, the acceleration is sweet. It lays pretty close to the board, so you'll want to avoid a hover board that may have a fixed carrying handle in the middle for example. There's a quirk or two depending on the board you use, like the city cruiser won't turn when at a sprinting speed (slow to normal speed then turn) If I only had the hoverboard, I would have been bored with it within a couple weeks and it'd be sitting. But this gets used by someone in the family daily and it's fun to let others try it because it's really safe. It came with a spare front wheel and attachment straps, which after a couple hundred hours of use I'll be ready for those. It's all quality materials and fits grown ups.

My daughter loves this. As soon as she opened it i had to put it together. She wheeled around on her new kart until the hoverboard died, and as soon as the hoverboard was recharged she was back out on the kart. Assembly was very easy and adjusting the rubber mat to fit on the hoverboard was very simple. My wife and i both had to try it out and adjusting for our height and back to our daughters took seconds. I had concerns with all the different products out there but we are EXTREMELY happy with this purchase and would recommend this kart for anyone looking to purchase for their Hoverboard. Because this does allow the Hoverboard to reach its max speed for extended time we found her Hoverboard would overheat but this has nothing to do with the kart, just caution for potential users.

My son received a hover board for his birthday and wanted to order the cart with his extra money. When we received the cart it came packaged very neatly. My 14 year old son was able to take the items out of the box and follow the directions for assembly.. Within minutes he was zooming around on the cart. The hover board fits easily into the cart and the handles control forward and backward movement. My son is a very happy and excited 14 year old. Thank you for the easy to follow directions. The item itself is well built and I believe he will be able to enjoy this for years!

Very unhappy. No directions to assemble !!!! Was a gift to my grandson. Was given to him 7/26 and 7/27 a bolt that was assembled comes off. Now it is bent and straps broke. Couldn't find the bolt that came off, had to go buy one and that's when we noticed it is bent. Wasn't easy to get to to install the bolt either nor didn't have proper tools. First photo is the bolt that is missing. He rode this on our neighborhood on flat asphalt. Yes straps are provided but are sewn on.

My kids absolutely love this go cart they are having a blast with it. They told me it was their favorite Christmas present. We even took it to the bike path. I have a 5 and a 7 year old girl. Good quality, durable, well priced. I would highly recommend this product. Just a reminder you do need a hover board to attach it to.

The media could not be loaded. The front wheel assembly/bearing case failed on two separate units after one week's use. Contacted the company through Amazon a couple weeks ago and still have not heard back. When they were working, they were amazing. But after a week, the fun is done. Given the failure of the same part on two different units and the lack of response from customer service, I would not recommend.
