I've got to give a ding for them cutting costs and skimping on the fabric without making a new listing or at least updating this one. Another review pointed out, the old models had 12 loops and these have two. For an adult, it is not ideal and your head may not have any fabric to rest on depending on how you sit. The build quality is exactly what I personally would expect for the 30usd price range. Definitely room for improvement in pretty much every aspect, but good luck getting a reasonable value and high quality product with no bait and switch. I definitely could see this not holding up long term, but again, to try out a swing and invest in a robust option later ... It works out.

The media could not be loaded. Easy to put together. Love the chain to be able to adjust to the height to your liking. Just purchased so I can’t attest to the life yet but they fit beautifully in our treehouse. The only thing I’d change is for them to be long enough to put your feet up too. Great swinging chair. I would purchase again.

TLDR: Good chair. Hardware is junk. Get stronger hardware. The product itself, as far as the chair is quite comfy. My wife purchased it and we had it hung in our bedroom for a reading nook before recently moving and now it is out on the front porch. However. The included hardware is not rated for the correct weight. The included S-hook and carabiner are only intended to hold 100lbs or NONMOVING weight. I tested them before installation and I was only able to put 150 lbs on them before the S-hook started to bend, and about 180 lbs on the carabiner when it completely failed and dropped the weight, and again that was stationary nonmoving weight. I have since replaced them with a 3/8" quick link rated at 2000lbs for $3 at TSC and a 1/2" screw eye rated at 2500lbs for $8 at TSC. Keep in mind those are stationary weights. As you get into the chair, swing the chair, or get out of the chair your apparent weight goes up and down so you want the hardware to be rated well above your actual weight. Now admittedly I went a bit overkill, but I don't want my wife to get hurt so I went with the heaviest duty stuff that would realistically work.
