Purchased this last year for our daughter's room. She had been bugging us for a hammock chair for YEARS. Finally, updated her room to hang the chair, and she loves it. She sits in it all the time to read or do schoolwork. We hung it in a stud in the ceiling and it even supports MY weight and is actually pretty comfy. It was easy to hang even tho the directions werent precisely clear. Firstly the cushions provided are barely existent. We're actually using a throw pillow instead because the included ones are barely an inch thick. The chair itself feels sturdy enough that my 235lb ass feels safe in it, but the bar is already bending and it's only been a few weeks. Very easy to put the swing together, nothing complex about it. Grandchild loves it. I mounted the swing from the ceiling. I had to purchase a separate mounting system for the swing, it was not included with this swing. I purchased an actual outdoor swing mount for a wooden swingset. Which had a weight capacity of 550 pounds. I used lag bolts to secure to the ceiling joist. I would not mount the swing into the ceiling drywall, even with anchors because I knew that it would break free from the ceiling. ... show more
