  • Incredible mouse. Especially for FPS (24 years off and on of CS experience)
I bought this mouse as a true left handed player (mouse on left side of my keyboard), and being someone who used to use the SS Kinzu. This mouse is as close to it gets, and honestly, even better. The accuracy and consistency of this sensor is incredible. You truly get that nice raw, accurate feel. It's extremely light, and the skates are perfect out of the box. I didn't really notice much of a difference between the two back plates, but that's an extra feature as far as I'm concerned. The cable has a thicker braid to it, but it's a non-issue for me. This mouse looks and feels incredible. I had been wanting to give Xtrfy a shot for a while now and I was beyond impressed when I opened the box (more-so than any other mouse I've used) and equally impressed once I tested it in game (CS2). It won't be for everyone as it is a pretty small size (very close to the Kinzu). But if you don't need a very large mouse..... this mouse is so perfect. Especially if you're like me and you don't need a tone of extras and simply prefer a consistent and accurate mouse without any BS. No software (a huge plus) and very easy to setup via underneath buttons. I've used plenty of excellent mice over the years, geared specifically towards CS. As long as it's not too small for you, there is no way you could be disappointed with this mouse for CS. ... show more

  • Great mouse for small-medium hands and even better customer service
I've owned the Xtrfy M4, Roccat Kone, Glorious D and O-. The M42 is probably the best one so far. I'd rate the product itself 4.5 stars Pros: -Satisfying clicks with almost no post-travel. Also feels very similar to the O- -Lightweight. Comfortable and adjustable with the palm plates. -Almost zero lift off distance. The only other one with this was Xtrfy's own M4. Neutral/Cons: -Okay scroll wheel. It's there. It works. My first unit started making very slight but noticeable squeaky noise and developed a bit of a post-travel after about 1 month of use. -Cable could be improved. It's stiff and tends to drag quite a bit. Even with a bungee cord holder, I can still feel the drag sometimes. -Lift-off distance on my first unit was actually quite high, but the replacement unit was much better so there may be inconsistencies between units. Customer service: -After my first unit had the scroll wheel problem as above, I emailed Xtrfy customer service. The only question they asked was my address and nothing else. They then promptly sent me a replacement. That's top-tier customer service. The mouse itself maybe 4.5 stars, but Xtrfy as a company gets 5 stars for me. ... show more

  • Awesome fingertip grip mouse for FPS games!
This is an awesome little ultralight mouse for esports-level gaming. Great build quality with an amazing look with the RGB stripe in the front and the recessed logo in the back. The small design is perfect for fingertip grip, the PTFE skates have a smooth glide, all the buttons have a crisp actuation, and overall the mouse feels very solid and comfortable to use. Some reviewers say the cord is a little too stiff, but for me this wasn’t a problem after I secured the cord in a mouse bunjee. ... show more

  • Good bang for your buck, but not extraordinary.
Overall a good mouse. The removable shell pieces are feel surprisingly solid despite being held on by only small magnets. No play to them. I prefer to have neither of them on, but the options are nice and give the mouse broader appeal. My only gripes are the main mouse buttons and the cable. I don't like how pronounced the grooves are in the buttons or the switches they chose. Chinese Omrons are simply sub-par, though you may not care about that until you've tried other ones. Functionally, they're totally fine. The click is also heavier than other mice I've had with the same switches, but if feels like this thing will have good long-term durability. The cable is okay in a bungee but still a good candidate for a replacement paracord due to its stiffness and weight. This is a good deal for the price. I did end up giving mine away, but don't let that stop you. It's excellent for smaller hands. The button grooves, stiffer clicks, and shape just aren't my cup of tea. ... show more

  • Light, Ergo, Customizable, But I wish it had software
Not going to dock a point for software since it happens to have the DPI settings I need, but It would be nice for light customization, and for people who's needs aren't satisfied with the presets. Aside from that, the idea of a convertible mouse is something that i'd like to see more of in the space. Personally i run it with no shell, and actually trimmed back some of the plastic. The construction is quite good. Even shell-less it's still just as rigid. It's got a proven geometry, so it's effective, if uninspired. A top tier pick. Between this and the Glorious O-, the O- has decent software and looks sexier, but i'll take the convertible shells over that, for performance reasons. ... show more

  • failure after a year and a half
I write this review with a heavy heart. I have enjoyed this mouse for a long time but now my middle mouse (scroll wheel) button is not functioning consistently. I am also finding my double clicks to be failing as well.

  • Great pro FPS mouse thats superlight
Cable never gets in the way. The mouse is super light at under 60g. Really great sensor and is super easy to change dps. The only problem is cleaning the holes can be annoying. Also comes with extra skates
