I've been looking at this item for a while and finally pulled the trigger. It took me less then 5 minutes to attach to my cherry picker and worked perfect. The ease of being able to use the air lift to pick up engine while I work on getting it out is wonderful. You can lift and remove items at the same time. I love it.     • Needed to drill one hole
It looks like it works well and air is much faster then pumping it. I have wanted one for a long tile on my cherry picker. I had to drill one hole in the base but it was easy. Quality seems nice and it worked well

    • Air/Hydraulic stopped working after 2 uses.
Bought it a couple weeks ago and I had it sitting on the work bench for a bit while I worked on a few projects. Had played with it twice when it showed up and worked fine. After today it stopped working completely and I can’t get it to work, Oil is full, etc no clue what’s wrong with it.

    • Need a lift without all the stress?
Delivery estimate was for Nov. 13-18th. Arrived on the 11th. Impressed with the shipping speed. Heck, wasted no time installing into my folding engine crane. Not too many engines being installed or removed around here, but we use to load and unload gas driven compressors and leaf loaders into truck beds. It was taking too long to pump by hand and wanted a faster less stressful way to lift heavy items. This seems to be the ticket. Comes with adapter plate and bolts to fasten ram to adapter plate. It was about an inch shorter than the original ram that came with my Sunex folding engine crane, but it extends plenty far enough that I doubt I'll ever need to lift anything quite that high. Installed in minutes without any modifications. Hooked up the air line and lifted quickly without all the manual pumping, just what I needed. Will try with a load tomorrow and update accordingly. ... show more

    • This is a great product when a powered hydraulic jack/ ram is required.

    • Works out of the box but it may be crooked....
I just received mine today and swapped it out with the manual pump jack I had in my engine hoist. The unit I received is crooked, the bottom clevis holes aren't even so it sits canted over to the side about a half inch which required quite a bit of grinding to make it work. Otherwise it functions properly except when you release the air it continues to cycle about every 10 seconds. Not a deal breaker but not good either. If you have another option I would go with it.
