I have been using it to cut retaining wall blocks and cap stones. So far it has performed quite well. I stacked a few blocks up to build a make shift cutting table so it wouldn't bottom out in the dirt and give me more control during the cut. It doesn't kick on full speed (soft start) when you first pull the trigger, this avoids tripping breakers. I used it on a 20 amp circuit with a 12 gauge extension cord and didn't trip the breaker once. I tried it with and without the water. I was surprised at how well the water supply worked. Having the water running through it takes the dust almost down to zero. Just be sure to get a cut off ball valve for the saw end of your garden hose so you can cut the water off and on while at the saw and save yourself a trip to the spigot each time. I was apprehensive about having some of the vents pointing right at the back end of the blade but the mud flap seemed to keep it mostly clear of the dust. When I set things up so the saw could pivot up and down using the wheels as the hinge (and not roll back and forth) it cut right where I lined it up. I used the blade that came with it and didn't notice any type of wobble. I didn't think it was all that heavy but I use large power tools often. ... show more

Great saw! Easy to handle and operate. Running fine on a 20amp outlet. Slow on startup but maintains speed through the entire cut. Removed the depth control plate for better vision when cutting and arc or curve. Blade has lasted a month now of everyday use and just starting to feel some minor binding. Bought this 6-8 months ago, finally put it to use today. I was a little scared to use the water function, but totally necessary I my sitch. It worked well, cut though 4 inch deep limestone super quick, and I made 4 - 4” deep cuts 12” long each through a solid block of marble. Blew the 20 amp fuse each cut through the marble, but it did the job I needed!! First cut was a little off but the rest were fine! It’s was me, not the machine. So yeah it’s worth the cost, it’s a little beast! The instruction manual needs a little help, and the last couple pages seemed to be talking about a totally different machine, so beware there may be a little problem solving on your part. The video of not finding the blade lock to put the blade on, use the wrench to hold the nut, the Allen key takes the bolt out of the center. And I will probably get a better blade, ... show more

This is an amazing saw, especially for the price. I’ve used it on a couple of projects now and it has performed flawlessly. It’s actually a pleasure to use and is kinda fun! I did not use the optional support bracket because I was cutting completely through material and maxing out the capacity. It might come in handy if I need to maintain a certain depth. This cut through 5 3/4” limestone with ease, as seen in the video and pictures—great cut quality Finally— maybe think about adding a shit off valve right at the quick release hose. Saw 3200W and assumed this was 240V. It is not. It is 120V with a 15A plug and 14AWG power cord. 3200W at 120V comes out to over 25A... But that couldn't be correct, right? No way they would design a product to operate at a current that is dangerous for the power cord (only 14AWG) and plug end (15A max plug)? Well, this piece of trash does indeed appear to use much more than the current it is rated for, as it blows a 15A breaker no problem. Combine this with the gearbox in the unit that out of the box sounds like it is ready to explode, and I decided to return this substandard piece of garbage. Good riddance. Be aware that this unit is likely a fire hazard as I see in other reviews people using an adapter to run the unit off of a larger breaker - Do not do this - The cord and plug are only 14AWG and you're just asking for a fire. EDIT: Upon packaging the unit back up, I discovered that after making only a few feet of cut in soft concrete (with a 20A breaker continuously blowing the entire time), there was a greasy substance around the base of the motor where it meets the gearbox. It turns out that this substandard piece of crap started losing its gearbox grease... After only a few minutes of use! HOW does this product have 4 stars!!! ... show more

I used the saw to cut on opening in a brick wall for an air conditioner installation. The saw cut the brick easily and did not seem to even dull the blade when the project was finished. the saw is heavy and I made a horizontal support ledge that I temporarily attached to the wall to support the weight of the saw. I do not think I could have made the horizontal cuts without using the ledge. Is an awesome saw and I am happy it worked so well for me ... show more
