  • Impressed, so far. 100+ cuts and still working well.
Style: Electric Circular Saw
I have been using it to cut retaining wall blocks and cap stones. So far it has performed quite well. I stacked a few blocks up to build a make shift cutting table so it wouldn't bottom out in the dirt and give me more control during the cut. It doesn't kick on full speed (soft start) when you first pull the trigger, this avoids tripping breakers. I used it on a 20 amp circuit with a 12 gauge extension cord and didn't trip the breaker once. I tried it with and without the water. I was surprised at how well the water supply worked. Having the water running through it takes the dust almost down to zero. Just be sure to get a cut off ball valve for the saw end of your garden hose so you can cut the water off and on while at the saw and save yourself a trip to the spigot each time. I was apprehensive about having some of the vents pointing right at the back end of the blade but the mud flap seemed to keep it mostly clear of the dust. When I set things up so the saw could pivot up and down using the wheels as the hinge (and not roll back and forth) it cut right where I lined it up. I used the blade that came with it and didn't notice any type of wobble. I didn't think it was all that heavy but I use large power tools often. ... show more

  • Reliable and Lightweight Electric Concrete Saw
Style: Electric Circular Saw
This budget-friendly electric concrete saw is a convenient choice for occasional use. It's user-friendly, cuts accurately, and notably lighter than a gas-powered saw. As mentioned by others, it's important not to push the saw too hard to avoid tripping the circuit breaker. I plugged it into a 20-amp circuit and found that rushing the job caused the breaker to trip. However, when used patiently and allowing the saw to work at its own pace, it performs well. ... show more

  • Almost Great
Style: Electric Circular Saw
Bought this to cut some 4” thick concrete. I had read some earlier reviews complaining about a few design oversights with the water feed as far as not accepting a standard garden hose and the feed hose not being firmly attached. They must have heard this feedback and changed up the design, because it now accepts a standard garden hose attachment and has a piece of Velcro to secure it. My only complaint is the rubber debris guard behind the blade. If you have to pull the saw toward you, it often gets caught under the wheels. This may be the reason a few people complained about uneven cuts. The included blade was OK, about as good as could be expected for an included blade. I made eight 3’ cuts overall; It cut very well at first, but by the last 2-3 it was clear it was pretty worn. Overall, great value for the price. ... show more

  • Makes butter out of concrete Makes butter out of concrete
Style: Electric Circular Saw
This product is so good, you can do it like the pros. Had to jackhammer only one piece, the others I grabbed out by hand. Cautionary note: Must use 20 amp circuit,....15 amp will pop breaker. A short 12 gauge(10 ft) will work BUT do not use ordinary extension,...it will melt cord. That aside, this product operates very well and for the price,... it's a no brainer ... show more

  • 1st saw dead, replacement worked okay, gas saws are more powerful.
Did not work out of the box/no power. Waiting for sellers response. 5/22/2020 Will have to modify water connection. 6/7/2020 Update, Seller replaced the saw as fast as possible, two thumbs up for that. Motor does not work instantly when you squeeze the trigger but it does do a decent job of cutting. I did a 5" plunge 36" cut in hard limestone. Water setup not the best, ended up letting water just run into the cut. Keep in mind this it *NOT* a strong gas powered saw so you have to go slow and take your time. Did not trip my 15amp breaker running for 10 minutes for the cut, and 30' light duty cord. 8/2/2021 motor on saw just died, did not use this saw very much. DO NOT BUY THIS SAW. I will rent one as needed moving forward. ... show more

  • Good deal
Style: Electric Circular Saw
So far so good. It did very well on the first job. I can't speak to how well it will hold up long-term, but the price is good and for now it's working well.

  • Fantastic tool!
Cuts just as good as my walk behind wet saw but it is a lot easier to handle with no fumes from a gas engine. Wish I'd bought this years ago.

  • One of my BEST DIY tool purchases
The title says it all... Over the last 2 years I have cut in all new sewer and all new interior perimeter french drain in my basement. My day job was a construction engineer, focused on concrete inspection. Iv'e seen and used many different cutting tools, and this is NOT a professional level tool, but for the daring DIY'er its simply perfect. Power: It has plenty, but not much. ie it cuts fine, but just don't force it. About 5lb of pressure with sliding/ramping cuts about 1" per stroke worked great for me. If you bog it down, it will overheat, and actually slow down. Just get a good pair of keen pads, plenty of water, and enjoy the cut. Features: the vacuum connection wasn't all that useful for me... just got too clunky with the power cord, the hose, and the shop vac hose. With plenty of water, and a cheap mask... its really not needed if you keep things wet. The bottom plate isn't that useful either, at least not for my all full depth cuts. the wheels thought... were awesome! Made cutting a breeze. Key question: knowing what I know now... did I make the right purchasing decision... YES. ... show more
