Does not work at all! Hooked it up ran it for 6 hours and the pool got colder! I bought a sand filter pump, hooked it up hoping the added water flow would work, still not heating. Temps were 86 degrees outside and the pump still doesnt work. It has been running now for 4 hours and the temps have not changed. Do not buy this heater it does not work!

So, I live in NC, The current temp is about 70 degrees outside... the pool water is currently 83 and rising and it gets basically zero sunlight so that tells me it works. I have a 10ft best way pool that holds around 2k gallons and its paired with a 1000gph sand pump. All that being said Last year in 100 degree weather my pool, in the same area under my deck, never rose above the 70s so this pump definitely works but it does take a few days which is great for a pool slow and steady is key. I feel the price is a little high but it is giving me more access to my pool so its worth it. This will not heat fast and will not work in below 50 degrees and without a cover. I would recommend this to people that understand the science of a heat pump because if you don't understand you will be disappointed because it needs time. I dont like that there is no designated condensation hose becuase it does create a bit due to the current climate, other than that Im excited to get in my pool later... IN MARCH!!!!!

We have had our pool heater for a couple months now. We live in Pennsylvania where it can get cooler at night and weather isn't always sunny. This heater had kept our pool at 90 degrees (where we have it set) and has worked perfectly every time. Our filter pump is a little less powerful now, but it hasn't seemed to effect it's ability to do it's job. I would definitely recommend this product. It has given us the ability to be in our pool every day so far this summer! Our pool is 5300 gallons and we turn the heater on in the morning with the pump and it is usually 90 by the afternoon. We also cover our pool at night.

this is not a heater. it is an ambient air reverse radiator. it says it in the description which is fine but it only heats the water when it is hot outside. my unit was shipped used, smelling like pool chemicals and some metal parts were rusted out. no help on a return due to the product being removed from amazon shortly after my purchase. i see its back for sale. my opinion would be to just go up another 500 bucks and buy a true heater, with a heating element .

I was hesitant to buy this heater due to some negative reviews. I took a chance and got way more than I bargained for. I've had it for 2.5 months now in Michigan and it heats a small 2,000 gallon pool incredibly well, and is much cheaper to operate than the multiple gas heaters I had over a 10 year period. The gas heaters were so unreliable as well and needed yearly repairs. Without a heater my pool temp would stay around 70 due to virtually no sunlight. With the heater, it's easy to hit 90+ degrees as long as you give it some time.

Worst purchase ever. Cut the hoses on my pool to reroute flow. The heater worked for 2 days and quiet. Keeps giving me E3 code which is flow however I cracked the valves and both connections leak water ( A lot of water ). Hope this company goes under. It’s a sham that quality doesn’t matter these days You should be ashamed of yourselves. Enjoy the money you have taken from us consumers whom trusted in you. ( It will be short lived ). DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT or any other from this company, ( Suggestion obviously )

Worked well for the first season but second season it completely freezes over (solid block of ice) so either it leaked out most of its refrigerant or it had but no longer has a defrost mode. I am a certified HVACR Technician so I will be opening it and seeing if it’s worth fixing but shouldn’t have to after less Than a year, I have a 28 year old ac that has never had a leak made in china same as this pool heater so only excuse is incompetence. I will be contacting the company before working on it, may have to take it to a heating and air company for warranty so ultimately I will still be working on it but at least I will get paid to do it then. Will update my review if they are or aren’t helpful with the warranty
