This is really light weight but in a good way. The color matches the picture pretty close and it fits me really well! There’s a bit of a learning curve with putting this style on if you’re not used to it but once you figure it out it happens really fast. There are no ties, which I like because they can’t get in the way. For the price I think I would have liked it to feel a little thicker but that would have made it bulkier and I didn’t want that so it might be a little expensive for what it is but I still love it.

Huge, But Functional

It’s a good apron, but it was huge. First, the good: The apron is lightweight and comfortable to wear. It isn’t clingy and provides great coverage. I love the pockets, and it’s very easy to get on and off over clothes. I work with stained glass, and I wanted something I could easily throw on over my clothes to protect them from an occasional solder pop, paint, patina, or anything else while I work. This definitely does the job. The less good: I normally wear medium or large shirts, and even though other reviewers said to get a size up because it runs small, I decided to stick with medium since I’m not large-chested. I’m glad I didn’t go any larger - the medium was HUGE on me. There is a LOT of extra fabric, although it mostly hangs in the back so it doesn’t bother me, but it is very bag-like in the fit. It looks rather like I’m wearing a way-too-large linen laundry bag. If you are looking for something that would look in any way fitted, cute, or at least professionally put together, this probably isn’t it. I’m usually working in my own little studio at home, just me, so I don’t particularly care what it looks like if it does what it needs to, and it did. It’s possible a smaller size would have a better fit - maybe even 2 sizes smaller. At any rate, overall it is a solidly useful, lightweight apron. I’m keeping it and will use it because its functionality far outweighs its bag-like look, but I will probably invest in something with a better fit for meeting with clients.

I love the army green color and I love everything about this apron except for the fact that little old me had a problem figuring out how to get it on! Ha ha! That part was tricky, but after I got it on, it fits perfectly and I love it I am 5 foot eight and I weigh 185 and I got the two XL and it fits just right and goes all the way around me perfectly It’s a little loose and I wanted it loose. It will protect my clothes while I’m in here cooking and making a mess as usual.

If you want to look sexy?

This isn't it. Though, with a touch and minor work, it could be a bit prettier. However, if you want to keep your clothes clean while cleaing or cooking, perhaps painting or such? This is your ticket. I may add tie straps, would be easy. And maybe sew in flowers, or such. Just work items, but a very nice starting base item to enhance. I bought the 3x, because sizing is so iffy for anything on amazon. Now, I... am larger up top. Not... huge, but pretty big. The 3x, if it were honest, would be pushing it. Or at least... no... it is my exact measurement, so... I wasn't sure what to expect. I am swimming in the thing. However, that isn't a problem. I'm not doing miss America in this. I'm cleaning, and cooking. And, I love having room to move, bend, pick things up, and not be squished, tight, or feel bound. I am very happy. Linen? Maybe. Some. It certainly has the feel, but I don't trust anything. However, it is pleasantly linen textured. I am just hoping it doesn't shrink too much when washed. Though... I could lose a few sizes and probably still be good with this. Very happy. I ordered an orange and a green, in 3x. Should have waited, might have ordered the green in a 1x? Though, we'll see what shrinkage happens. All told, I am very, very, happy. And the price cannon be beat.

One Size Doesn't Always Cover It

While I LOVE these aprons for the quality (nice material) and ease of use (slips over your head), the sizing seems off on this "One Size Fits Most". I'm not a big person (medium build) this apron was snug on the shoulder straps. The material is fantastic and the same as my other apron (different company), but it felt tighter around the shoulders and chest. When I cook, I like to be able to move about freely not confined. A little looser would have been better. Don't get me wrong, it's a good apron. It does the job and cleans up nicely, so I guess in this case you get what you pay for. (I bought on a limited time sale dirt cheap!) Not so much bang for my buck on this one.
